Hey Product Hunt fam! I'm working on a project, one of whose goals is to tackle the challenges posed by AI-generated content. There's no denying the leaps and bounds AI has made, leading to blurred lines between what's real and what's AI-crafted. But here's the rub, while I genuinely feel this is a big deal, it feels like we're in the early days of this challenge. So, I'm reaching out to you all : Are you finding it tough to distinguish AI-generated content from human-created? Or do you think it's a problem for 'future us'? Have you encountered situations where AI-generated content posed challenges? Maybe it tricked you or just made you skeptical about everything?

You're not too early. Infrastructures take years to build before we could use it. By the time people realize this is a problem, it would be too late already.

So, from your perspective, is most AI-generated content lacking in value and insight? What if this extends to the news media industry? I believe it's now easier than ever to generate fake news using generative AI tools, don't you agree?

I learned to distinguish AI-generated text rather quickly. The Internet is already full of all sorts of AI-generated crap, so that's difficult to wade through to find something really worthwhile. And further it will be even worse. The idea of your project is interesting. Who are you going to sell your product to?

Just curious, how do you distinguish between AI-generated text and human-written content? Do you use any specific tools for this? Our project focuses on making all images online traceable and verifiable. We believe that the issue can likely be resolved only when all data can be traced. The target audience will be the content platform, news media channel, or even individual creators.
