After Elon Musk decided to charge Twitter creators $11/month for blue-tick verification, Instagram is following suit. Its an easy way for social networks to make bit more money. Financial experts are also questioning the intent: Meta generates over $120billion cash each year and net profit from Facebook's biggest userbase (India) increased by 130% last year itself. Does it really this extra cash it wants from creators?
