How does 'streaks' help?

From the perspective of "addictive" user, you are more likely to visit page (dopamine) + you have some popularity when you are on top in the ranking. From the perspective of the future makers – they will ask you to support the PH launch – because there is a high chance to be supported as you log in every day (active users) From the perspective of the PH – daily traffic, good for SEO and stats for advertisers.

I recently lost my streak and contacted support about it. They pointed out that it has no impact whatsoever. So, it's just an element of gamification. On the other hand, users with long streaks are seen as more trustworthy (at least for me personally). So, I wouldn't say it's completely useless.

From my experience, streaks don’t seem to impact my K points or credibility. I maintain my daily streaks mostly for earning the badges and climbing the rankings among the most active community members.

For me, streaks are a way to track consistency and stay visible, but I don't think they directly impact my credibility.

I agree with @m_hassan_sajjad . Maybe it just boosts visibility if you’re consistent, or the algorithm favors those who show up more. I don’t think credibility has much to do with it. Some days, you just can’t check in - especially when traveling or super busy. When I lost my year-long streak last year, it didn't bother me anymore.
