How do you view relaunching a product after just a few months?

I've been developing this product for over a year, which has led to various pivots. While keeping the same product name, the product itself has changed significantly. I'm finding lots of constraints when trying to launch on Product Hunt. For instance, when we attempted to relaunch six months ago, we were excluded from being featured due to these restrictions. I'm facing a dilemma: Should I launch with a new name or keep the existing one? Product Hunt seems to have many unwritten restrictions that make it challenging - rules that aren't clearly documented. The key question is: What's the better strategy - rebranding with a new name or maintaining our current brand identity?

Hey @brian_cheong 👋 In terms of launching on Product Hunt, it's perfectly fine to launch with the same name. And it looks like your last launch was in July of 2024 so it's definitely been long enough for it to be eligible for re-launching! We also have our featuring guidelines publicly available. If you're still running into questions that you don't feel are answered on the site or in our help center feel free to reach out! I'd love to make sure those get addressed.

@jakecrump Thanks for the guidelines. It's great to see that you made it publicly available now. As you suggested, I am going to launch the product on PH again. Hope it works this time.
