How are you prioritizing your marketing actions in the MVP phase?

Heeey founders, makers, and product passionates,

I'm super curious to hear about your experiences in prioritizing the marketing actions when your product is in its MVP days.

Context: I'm part of the team that's building Lifetoon, an AI-native platform for episodic visual storytelling. We've just launched the MVP's 1.1 version yesterday, and we already have +100 users on the platform. We're still looking for the PMF, but I feel like I'm a bit all over the place when it comes to where my focus lies, marketing-wise. And, I want to get better at prioritizing.

So, my question is: how are you prioritizing your marketing actions in the MVP phase? Are there some actions you prioritize on a daily basis?

First of all, congrats on your first users!

I would analyze these initial users to find what they have most in common, giving me ICP hypotheses to test. People often make the mistake of trying to attract too many users at the beginning when they should be focusing on finding THE RIGHT users for their product.

My daily marketing priorities would be:

- Building trust around my project through consistent content (routine of posts/videos related to my MVP) : this serves to reinforce my second point, as people will check my branding when I reach out to them directly

- Conducting one-on-one outbound outreach to potential users matching my hypothesized ICP for interviews and product trials (which, if successful, would convert into actual users)

This targeted approach would help validate both the product and marketing channels simultaneously (cause once you got your ICP then it's just a question of scaling which is a whole other subject)
