Technology has made us lazy in terms of communication. For example, it's easier to reply to a text message than to give a phone call. It's easier to order food through a website than to cook it. It's easier to do all these things, but it's harder to keep in touch with our friends, family, coworkers, and so on. We spend less time with the people we care about, and we are less likely to do anything for them unless it's convenient for us.
We're as active as we need to be because technology helps us. The only problem is the platform risk: If we're reliant on technology we're useless without it.
No, technology hasn’t made us lazy, but it sure has changed our work ethics. It is true that the high standards we have today have become possible because of technology, but we can’t let ourselves to take it for granted. It’s time for us to realize that technology isn’t a shortcut to success. It’s just a tool to get you there. If you put in the time and hard work, you can still achieve whatever you want.
