Notion is great - I found it helpful for building out the company wiki and store some of the key documents for everyone's easy reference, but I find the whole database & project management angle is difficult; it requires everyone around you to be quite an advanced user of Notion to really collaborate effectively. As soon as that friction comes up, folks go back to their usual ways of working - email, Google Docs, Asana, etc. So I'd say it really depends on your use case and how familiar the rest of your team is with it.
