Do you think e-commerce products have any scope for product hunt?

No, my friend, I don't think it is possible. Product Hunt is an awesome place for new brands or products to hype up. However, e-commerce has a totally different rationale and path than Product Hunt.

Product hunt is a great way to launch your product particularly when you are looking for a feedback from leaders of the tech industry on your product. But if you are not launching a new product and just want more sales then it may not prove to be very helpful. However, this does not mean that such sites aren't effective in contributing to your sales.
