Do you think video games have any relation to age? Like should one stop playing video games just because he/she is working or specifically say, has become an adult. Do you still play video games? Share your video game story.

I think games are fun and distract from all the problems that can be in everyday life. I follow trends in the gaming industry here and am always looking forward to new things. Lately we've started to play a lot of online games with our friends. Since I'm tired of playing alone. It helps me not to feel so lonely and have a good time with my friends. I wish I had more time to play games. But for now I can only do it in my spare time from work.

I do, only reason I don't play them as much is because of the lack of time! But it's definitely a hobby you can enjoy at any age.

@between_team True!! Video games and lack of time go side by side definitely but saving an hour or two at the weekend is good for me!! Thanks for sharing.
I part of several gaming communities and have games from their teens to retirees. I don't think it has anything to do with age except that people tend to game less when they have other commitments.

@maxwellcdavis Yes, but most of the parents(especially Asian parents) or colleagues don't think the same. I guess lack of time is still the big cause behind losing our teenage craze to video games. Thanks for sharing!!

@maxwellcdavis @mahak I think it's nice when parents don't see games as evil and play them with kids. It can be a nice bonding time 🙂. I was lucky I could play various games with my parents :-). Also, I learnt a lot of things through playing games, i. e. to plan things and be patient. Of course, it depends on what you play. Mobile games are often quite brainwashing 😥. I've played many different games. I like the strategies and creative games the most.
@mahak - it's interesting because living in Asia I've been surprised at the conflict between students being studious and yet parents allowing so much screen time

I love video games. In fact, I'm teaching myself Unity to turn my indie book series into a playable trailer. Made the character models already and everything. Of course I still play them; we all need some down-time, and honestly you can learn a lot from excellent video games. Like user experience, menu design, friction. No reason not to play them except if you don't have time :)

I'm going 37 in few days and I still play games on my Nintendo Switch. And just like any other gamers, there are games that I'm not a fan of like all first person shooter kind of games, but there are also games I like, like RPG games.

Yes, I like video games, my favorite game is World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade. It is the absolute peak of World of Warcraft gameplay-wise. There was so much to do every week whether it be doing dailies, dungeons, and raids on your main character or TBC leveling and gearing an alt character. The dungeons were plenty in numbers and quite enjoyable and raids were amazing.

I don't think you have to stop playing video games as you get older. It can be like one of my hobbies. I personally still play and it's mostly a game like minecraft even though many say it's for kids. But who cares if I like it? Mostly I go to minecraft pvp servers where on these types of servers players have to fight with other users while trying to survive in the wilderness.
