Do you have doubts regarding the mqtt protocol?

Hello everyone, I hope someone can help with my question. Why do we need to use the MQTT protocol when HTTPS and HTTP are so popular and widely used for communication? Many thanks for considering my request.

I’ve just stumbled upon a cool article explaining the difference between HTTP and MQTT and when it’s better to use each one of them. This HTTP vs MQTT article begins with simple definitions of both protocols and proceeds to use a lot of criteria to compare these two, such as data packet size, Transfer time for one single message, reliability, performance, and purposes. The article concludes that MQTT is better for IoT projects than HTTP. Of course, it’s better to read the whole article to understand the topic better.
