I know a lot of people who make money from coding. And they do it successfully. I would like to start training in this field, too. But I still do not have an understanding of how best to start training. Someone advises me to take a course. But I still think how best to allocate my time and do everything correctly. Recently I read an article about mobile applications for training and I liked that I can learn even when I am not at home. I'm thinking about which app is better, Sololearn vs Mimo. Have you heard of these apps?

I'm an entrepreneur and product manager that never write codes, and I also have lots of achievements and medals in national and international programming competitions (ICPC and Olympiads in Informatics)! After joining my first non-developer role, I found excitement in leadership and product management that never comes in programming. Now programming makes me bored and sick!

@mmahdishokri good that you found your path, but I think in your case pressure from the school systems / olympiads could have made you feel sick of programming. I know many people who had a huge talent for something, but too much pressure and enforcement killed all their interest into the subject that they were talented it. I think one should never force someone else into doing something, especially something hard as Tech sciences - it should be voluntary and out of pure curiosity

Yes, I find coding interesting. In fact, I find it so interesting that I've been doing it for the past 10 years. Written with ParagraphAI. - We just launched and trending on home page - check it out!

Two years into Swift and building my own journaling app. Yes, it's interesting, and empowering, and infuriating :)

Absolutely. I was sick and bored from the sales/marketing type of work and wanted to learn programming just to keep my brain busy / challenged. Turns out it's a good career, too, and I'm enjoying the feeling when you finally solve the challenging task. With every task, at the start I feel like I can't solve it (yet) or don't know some details of the potential solution. But once I'm done, I feel and I know that know I became a better developer because I can use what I've learned to solve more tasks in the future. It's a very interesting path and I recommend everyone learning at least the basics of coding to see if they like it or not.

Yes, I love it! I think of coding as of playing toys in childhood. I think all of us enjoyed creating some small projects. It could be a paper airplane, or a wooden boat, a car, a robot, or whatever. The point is in implementing some idea and making it alive. When you create something all the world stops for a while. I think we still have this little child sitting inside us and programming makes him happy :)
