I do a combination of both. I like distant learning so I can go back and watch the videos, pause them write notes etc. For the more practical elements - I prefer in person

I think, it depends on the subject since for some of those it's better (or even required) to learn "on the spot".
Physical learning is my preference because it helps me disconnect from digital distractions.

Distant learning works better for me due to its flexibility in terms of time and location.

distant. I don't like the fluff of physical. I'm a very fast learner and grasp concepts quickly. when reading, I can skip sections. there's no skip button on a person.

Even though I like the flexibility of online learnibg, I think physical I learn and remember better, and networking part after is also nice

For entry level Physical, for experienced Distant. Because initially you learn "How to unlearn/learn!"

I think in-person learning is more effective for me but I think it depends on the subject and who is teaching it.

Distant learning allows me to pace myself and revisit materials as needed.

Physical learning helps me focus better without distractions at home.

Any type works best for me.

Physical learning can be more hands-on. You can participate in experiments and activities that you wouldn't be able to do online.

Distant learning allows me to set my own study environment and routine.

I would prefer a mix, like a hybrid work. Doing online classes you can save your time, but to meet with the people face to face is priceless

both have merit, it's all context. distant learning for scale and flexibility. physical for the tacit knowledge and subtle cues. unspoken wisdom often lives in person. the "why" determines the "how". seeking quick skills? online might suffice. mastering a craft? consider the physical. in a hybrid model, you capture the best of both. yin and yang. preference isn't universal, it's individual. one's optimal is another's subpar. no right or wrong, just what aligns with your goals and learning style.

Physical. I get to network and build relationships that could be hard building virtually over video conferencing
