Custom GPT has been released for almost 2 months now, has anyone found any truly useful GPTs?
99% of custom GPTs are of poor quality, but I believe there's still that 1% that are incredibly valuable. Have you ever encountered a GPT that you just couldn't stop using once you started?

@roza_zakaryan1 Yes, but it's based on the premise that Spotify provides such an API, and then when you customize your GPT, you set the relevant commands in the instructions, like how to understand the data returned by Spotify's API.
You can monetize your plugin / custom GPT in ChatGPT store using gpteezy.com. It adds authentication to GPT and lets you blast emails to your users.
I like the way Consensus uses a CustomGPT with their academic database connected to it. Ask it a question you want to have a scientific view on an their GPT will search their database for relevant papers and could write you a blog post with citations in it. https://chat.openai.com/g/g-bo0F...

My thoughts are Custom GPTs are not grabbing so much interest. but WorkBot is far better then GPTs.

The real difference in GPTs lies in the utilization of action.
What you mentioned about 99% of GPTs being hardly distinguishable from using gpt-4 directly, mainly due to differences in just the prompt, is the crux of the issue.

GPTs, as a simple agent, needs constant expansion of actions and higher-capability models to truly become useful.
Both of these processes are currently underway. Therefore, it requires time and the anticipation of the next hot topic, such as the launch of GPT Store.
Notion AI is way more useful for me than customGPTs. As of now, customGPTs feel a bit like a little scam in my opinion. It doesn't do anything better than just using the chat. I'm sure that it will improve over time.

this part of OpenAI I haven't taken advantage of at all, in general I don't feel a need, in the end that's how you discover things or move towards some tool. Currently I use the completions api a lot for my AI-based crypto newsletter and not much else :) https://quickviewai.substack.com/
@marco_moauro1 Out of curiosity: Why did you stick with completions api and not switch to assistants API?
I've experimented with both and really appreciate the higher quality of well-prepared assistants.
On the other hand the cost is a lot higher.
