Curious to see how small businesses are using data to grow their business
I ran a small restaurant for 7 years and even though I had ton of data - from Square POS, online reviews, social media and so many other places, including from customers directly, I just couldnt figure out how to use it to grow the business using that data. Eg we would improve the user experience based on feedback, but being able to predict busy days, or fill the restaurants on slow days, was always challenging and couldnt figure out how to use that data.
How do you use data from your small business to grow and expand? What tools do you use to leverage your data?

minimalist phone: creating folders
Usually for segmentation and creating a look-like audience for Meta ads, but it also helps us to better tailor the offer when we make creative assets :)
Hey!
-First you can gather all the numerical and similar data in one place, for example excel. Trying to create visual representation of those data to be easier for you to understand (e.g patterns on frequency, preferable plates, etc).
-By knowing the busy days and the more easy ones, you can prepare better. On slow days you can work on other things, like imporving your data analysis or creating promoting ads, etc.
