While micro management is often associated with negative outcomes, such as underperformance and burnout, there are certain cases in which it can be a useful tool. If you're new to a job or unfamiliar with the company's culture, for example, micro managing your work schedule may help you to adapt more quickly. Additionally, if you're trying to learn something new or develop skills faster than required by the standard timeline, then micro managing your workload might be necessary. However, micromanagement should always be done sparingly and only when appropriate; excessive use can hamper productivity and cause resentment among team members. It's also important to remember that being too hands-on will not make any tasks easier – on the contrary! In most cases it actually leads to greater difficulty because people become bogged down in details instead of focusing on delivering results.
