Hey PH! Happy to announce our soft launch as of today! We had our first team meeting just over four months ago, so it's been a bit of a whirlwind. GameApart was born out of what seemed like endless Zoom happy hours in April/May... and quickly running out of things to talk about! Just like in the real world. we turned to party (i.e. drinking) games, and assumed there must be products out there built for this... but turns out there really weren't! Started out as a side project and pretty quickly turned into a real product. We're live today with two games (GIFs About Society and The Word). You'll be able to tell pretty quick that they're based on popular party games! Plan is to release another ~2 games/month going forward (next two are already well under way). Our website and video explains it, but help and educational content is still in work. Short version: - Download the app, create an account (one-click if you use social sign in) - Go to our website (www.gameapart.com) - Click "Start a game" - Pick a game - Scan the QR code or enter the join code manually - Have fun, and please let us know what you think! Full launch (basically with more help content and probably some bug fixes from early feedback) will likely be in another week or two, but would love any feedback. James & the GameApart team.
