The Mind Garden Starter Kit includes everything you need to get roots down and begin cultivating a mind garden of your own. It's available for Obsidian, Notion, and Logseq.
The Mind Garden Starter Kit is my first major launch. The mind garden is my favorite analogy for personal knowledge management as I feel it provides a more creative workflow for writers.
Mind gardening is a note-taking method of idea creation that involves having a system for:
- Quickly capturing temporary notes containing new ideas, random thoughts, and any information that resonates with you.
- Keeping all of your notes in one place and regularly transferring external temporary notes to that place.
- Expanding your temporary notes with your own thoughts and ideas, turning them into permanent notes.
- Remixing your permanent notes to create something new.
The starter kit itself is fully linked so you can see an example of a working mind garden in action.
It also includes:
An Introduction Course
A Mind Garden Glossary of Terms
Cheat Sheets
The Characteristics of a Useful Note
Mind Garden Structuring Assets
A Simple 7-Step System for Working With Your Notes
