There are millions of form builders for the web, but none for emails. Until now.
FormCrafts allows you to create simple (or complex) forms using a dead-simply interface and then embed those forms in emails (or web).
Hey!
I am the founder of FormCrafts and built this feature myself. FormCrafts has been around as a form builder for a while. We allow people to embed forms on the web using a JavaScript embed code.
So, a customer email me asking why their embed code wasn't working in emails. We told them it doesn't work like that. Then we had an aha moment. So now it does work like that 😂
Needless to say email forms have some shortcomings, but we have managed to find clever ways to work around them while still maintaining the complexity of forms.
Can't wait for the feedback to roll in.
@nish_crafts pretty cool! Just got your email and impressive how well those forms work. What are the current caveats on which platforms / clients this will work ok.
@jasondainter Thanks for dropping by! The forms work 100% in Apple mail, Gmail, and Yahoo, which together make up 85-90% of the email market share. In Outlook and Thunderbird you would see one form field (instead of the whole form) so in a way that also works. Outlook + Thunderbird is about 10% market share.
This covers about ~95% of the use cases. We don't know about the other 5%, but that doesn't mean the forms won't work.
