I don't know French so it looks like this can help me translate my English into French.
I use Fedora, any chance we can get an electron or Java app in the future? Why can't this run on Fedora?
@kingromstar Finito has a separate fully native apps for Mac and Windows. In order to work really well, Finito requires tight integration with the host OS, something that would be quite difficult (maybe even impossible) to pull off with Electron.
In particular, it took a great care to make sure that when you trigger Finito after selecting text in any app, the state of that app is not affected in any way, but the mouse and keyboard interaction with Finito works. Basically it was necessary to figure out how to make Finito behave like a OS-level contextual menu. Finito looks simple, but parts of it were much more difficult to implement than it might seem at first sight.
Because of this, there are currently no plans to make Finito for Linux but who knows what the future will bring.

Your product concept seems really innovative, blending into every app and website to essentially create a 24/7 virtual assistant for all things writing, translating, question-answering, and idea-generation. In the future, it could be interesting if Finito could detect the user's writing tone/style and offer suggestions based on it. That might level it up even more. don't have to access GPT separately. The fact that everything fits within one screen makes it seem really user-friendly compared to other tools.
@hikaru_nagashima yeah definitely. Looks like it could help saving small amounts of time by tab switching and help staying focus by remaining on the current task tab.
Finito AI seems like a real time-saver. I'd totally opt for this over the hassle of repeatedly typing prompts and copy-pasting back and forth. It's clear you've put some serious thought into addressing a common problem. Kudos for the innovative thinking and a brilliantly executed launch!

But I would recommend you to improve your website design. This really has a big impact on visitors. If you want to achieve significant success, then you should develop a cool website.

It'd be really beneficial to add own OpenAI key — I'm happy to pay for the app, but I'd enjoy more not having any limits and using GPT-4 especially for some stuff like translations. It'd also be nice to add instruction to the prompt ("system" message) and have some sort of conversation WHEN user chooses too (e.g. no chat by default, but ability to have it when you click a button or something to "continue conversation").
The simplicity and effectiveness of Finito AI are remarkable. How do you plan to improve it further in the future?
