Hey Product Hunt, I’m Rob Bye, a Product Manager at Figma. Today, I’m very excited to announce that we’ve launched FigJam for iPad! It's available within our existing Figma app where you can already view files and prototypes on the go. This new experience not only makes sketching and sharing ideas feel more natural, it creates a more focused creative environment away from your desk. I've found the app to be a much more personal way to give feedback and collaborate with designers asynchronously. I can add screenshots directly to a FigJam file (or paste in Figma designs via desktop), then annotate, drop post it notes, and leave ❤️ stamps on top. It's also quickly become one of my favourite ways to run collaborative working sessions. Zoom running on my computer lets me see the whole team while FigJam on my iPad means I can sketch out ideas and annotate over others with ease. This is just the start of our investment into tablet editing. While Figma on tablet is something we’re actively exploring, we think that being able to ideate in a more tactile way with FigJam on iPad will unlock the more exploratory stages of the design workflow. We're already thinking about how we can make low fidelity designing on tablet even richer and faster – plus a lot of other exciting things! Just gave it a go. I think it will be nice to work on different ideas on the go with this. The only thing that I am not enjoying is the overall lag when using Figjam with the Apple Pencil. It's very slow compared to something like Procreate's drawing. If that could get solved this would be much more enjoyable to use. Keep it up, Figma!

I have an old ass iPad lying around. Need to test this out!
