@nedudi Good question. Yep! For now we have GA integration. Also we're thinking about Mixpanel/Amplitude integrations (if somebody needs them).
Also you can integrate Eyelet with Zapier to collect some stats on segments/attributes.
Hi, having some troubles installing this, we have a SPA (single page application), where does the "For the rest, use this all-in-one API example below" code go?
Looks cool! Couldn't find in the web the requirements to install it . I guess some snippet of code , yes? To check , before even talk with our developers :)
@bernardamus You can create and test everything using Chorome Extension. When you're ready, you need to install JS snippet. Check Projects -> Setup -> Eyelet Chrome Extension.
I saw you stopped developing Chatterbot for the hard competition with mainstream apps Intercom , etc. Don't you have a similar fear related with other APPs focused on onboarding? All in all, Intercom can be used to trigger onboarding instructions, right? What makes you unique and resistant against the competitors? Good luck!
@bernardamus Yep. We stopped developing Chatterbot cause there were not too many cases for pure chatbot widgets. Now it works as a part of Eyelet and focuses only on onboarding to bring more concentrated value.
We want to keep Eyelet as a niche product enriched with specific functions that aren't the main focus of Intercom or any company with a wide range of products. Also we want to keep an affordable pricing (unfortunately, not every company can afford Intercom, especially with product tours under the hood).
There are also companies which don't want to have proactive support, but still need a self-service onboarding for their customers.
Finally, this market has a wide spectrum of products, from walkme to chameleon. So I suppose there will be a place for our DNA π
Thanks Chris Messina for hunting us π
Hey product hunt!
Today we are launching Eyelet in open beta and it means 2 things:
1. Itβs absolutely free to use up to August 1, 2019
2. As Linus Torvalds wrote: Β«Iβd like any feedback on things you like/dislikeβ¦ Any suggestions are welcome, but I wonβt promise Iβll implement it :-)Β»
Within the current version we implemented the following approach to customer onboarding:
π€ Find out user needs.
Eyelet allows you to create bot qualification/segmentation to be used as a pre-stage of your customer onboarding.
π Personalise user experience.
We made a checklist which dynamically adapts to every user with their team roles and qualification in mind.
π§Ά Simplify the experience of interacting with a new functionality of your product.
To do this, we made interactive product tours.
Live demo: https://eyelet.io/playground/get...
They also can be configured flexibly.
π Automate this process.
Eyelet does everything automatically, organising the onboarding process as if it was Trello for your customers.
@vova_tereschenko I like this starts cheap, but I'd reduce the # of pricing options there's over 20 possibilities between the two plans and the # of user tiers.
@mike_seekwell Yep, we're still thinking about the pricing. I agree that it's a little bit complicated to calculate in advance. We'll study the reaction to pricing over the next months to make it more understandable and maybe less variable.
Amazing product. Fresh air into the onboarding arena! I have just been testing it and this really rocks. Love the way you mixed the bot and the tours, very flexible and powerful.
Guys this is the best tool I've seen in a while..! It offers alle the features for a great onboarding, while you guys have a customer friendly pricing that fits the company stages! Amazing job - good luck!
@stefanpyoneerio Thank you! We want companies to use our product! Therefore we want to increase pricing only with increase in value/usage.
In simple terms: "Go use it and if you like it, it will be affordable to your company at any stage".
@roman_eaton π Sure, we can set up a demo shortly after the launch. Also, there are product tours in our own dashboard that can be helpful (I hope so).
I think we can create a nice case for Dashly.
+ You can try product tours demo without even installing Eyelet Chrome extension here π https://eyelet.io/playground/get...
This is a really sleek and useful product and would save a lot of engineering time by allowing anyone to create a cool onboarding experience.
I gave some more in depth feedback and asked a few questions here: https://beta.getkelvin.com/site/...
Congrats on the awesome product and successful product hunt launch π
Hi @vova_tereschenko I have been trying Eyelet the past few days and I am liking it a lot. However I have this feeling that the product is in pause. For example I notice you say you have a Zapier integration but I can't find it. Are you guys still on track?
@vova_tereschenko love this! I am going to go ahead and add Eyelet to a few web apps I have in mind with complex user onboarding.
Question: what's next on the roadmap?
Would love to get Eyelet featured on www.NuCode.co/tools as a no code tool too!
Hey @vova_tereschenko - I'm want to try this out on the test site of our software application.....if I like it, will i be able to move it over to our product site easily? Thanks!
@conrad_ehing
Sure! After you create a project, Eyelet will also create another project in order to be used on a localhost. Then, you can push product tours and bots to the production.
Another option it to create a project for your test site and then change its domain in project settings. If you have the same layout in test and product versions, everything should work fine π
Very cool product that will help to save time when working on onboardoing. I just have couple of small functional notes:
1. It will be great to have a chance to upload a GIF/Image/Video directly rather than submitting a URL
2. When I'm trying to make the image larger it will be better to have it via scale rather then clicking the + button over and over again
