The Needle Playlists — Spotify's newest music discovery engine

I spend a crazy amount of time hunting new music for my Musicgeeks (http://musicgeeks.co) newsletter, and Everynoise is a major source of discovery for me. They've just released their newest set of playlists tuned to dig into Spotify data to identify Current, Emerging, and Underground music based on user listening all over the world. In addition, there's a list for tons of locations around the world: "We know where every Spotify listener is listening. I have already been using this to tell what people are listening to in countries and cities, and now it allows me to look for things that are maybe-rocketing out of local obscurities.
