Deepfakes in hiring - now hitting both sides. How are you dealing with it?
The problem isn't just candidates using deepfakes anymore. Now fake employers are using them to scam job seekers too - creating convincing "HR reps" for fraudulent interviews.
Got me wondering:
What detection methods or red flags work for you?
How are you protecting yourself/your company?

Whoa, didn't realize employers were pulling this stuff too! I've been seeing some insane AI tools lately for creating content, the image and video quality is getting scary good, so it's becoming really tough to tell what's real anymore.
From what I've heard though, live deepfakes still have some tells like they tend to avoid direct eye contact and there's often this weird reflection thing happening with glasses.
Also noticed the facial expressions can look a bit off or delayed, and hands are still a dead giveaway. They either look weird or the person keeps them out of frame entirely. The micro-expressions just don’t quite sync up with what they’re saying, and when hands do appear, the fingers might be doing impossible things or have that uncanny vacant look. Plus, watch for how they gesture. Real people have natural hand movements that flow with their speech, but deepfakes often struggle with that coordination.
