Bottom line is that after hundreds (literally) of customer and mentor interviews we found that there's a serious gap in the market for email + personalization.
This is why we all delete a pile of emails every morning! Email is a very personal channel, yet marketers are treating it like a public stream.
We actually shut down a previous iteration of our business to go after this because the market was so ripe for innovation.
