First off, Thank you so much @benln for hunting us! Always a pleasure :) TLDR; We created Popup Builder with one idea in mind: END UGLY AND ANNOYING POPUPS, by offering a streamlined process for building popups on WordPress. Two years ago, with your help, we managed to revolutionize WordPress page design, then later did the same for theme design. Now it's popup's turn for a design makeover! --- STORY Hey Product Hunt, my name is Yoni Luksenberg, CEO & co-founder of Elementor. We launched two and a half years ago here in Product Hunt, and has since grown to be the leading design tool for WordPress, with almost 2 million active installs. Our team has grown from 6 to 60, and Elementor boasts over 2,200 five star reviews. A popup feature was consistently ranked among our top feature requests since pretty much day one, but we wanted to do it right. So we spent months figuring out an entirely new process, one that has several key advantages over the alternatives: - One workflow: The entire popup building process is done using the same Elementor builder you know and love - All your content: You can include all your content from Elementor, WordPress, WooCommerce, ACF and more - Superior design: You get the highest level of design and styling options available in Elementor, including the ability to use all widget - Advanced yet intuitive targeting: You have advanced targeting capabilities that are set up intuitively from inside Elementor Our designers have handcrafted over 100 amazing pre-designed templates to get you off to a great start! --- SPECS - Superior design, with all the power of Elementor, its features and widgets - One interface and no switching back and forth - Include your content from Elementor, WordPress, WooCommerce and site - Zero setup needed, no need to install another plugin (built-into Elementor Pro) - No limits of pageviews, popups or websites - Advanced Targeting: Page-based, time-based, device-based & visitor-based targeting, behavior-driven targeting (clicks, scrolling, form submit and more) - 100+ popup templates - Exit-intent popup capabilities - Responsive design editing - Animated popups - Email Marketing Integrations: MailChimp, Drip, ActiveCampaign, ConvertKit, HubSpot, - Zapier, GetResponse, MailerLite, MailPoet, Slack, Discord Finally - The fastest workflow to create and manage multiple popups Take our Popup builder for a spin, we’d love to hear your feedback!

@yonilux Very cool. Wishing you much success with the rollout. The music video promo for it is sick!

Popup Builder is working; however, the associated language translations for our German and Chinese webpages are not appearing on those language pages, just only the English version of the popup appears. The translations for the popup exists, seem to be correct. The problem is when we are on the foriegn language page, say German, the page appears in German, but the when the user activates the popup its in English... the German translation of the popup is what we expected - but only the english version comes up. Is there a solution to this or is there sample code we need to install to get this proper popup behavior.

@galdubinski Thank you very much, Gal!

In everything they do, they always think 5 steps ahead. Like this one - they didn't just create a popup feature. It's a whole system that actually lets you control EVERYTHING related to popups! Look? Check! Motion? Check! User-Triggers? Check! Ready-Made templates? Check! What's more to ask? Thank you guys and keep on the AMAZING Job you are doing!

Pros:

The Flexibility of Elementor Page Builder with Popups. What's more to ask?

Cons:

I guess you can use Poptin instead. It's awesome as well :)

Yoni Luksenberg
Thanks Yossi! The flexibility is one of the most powerful features indeed

I'm an Elementor power user since their first launch. All my sites run on it, and all my clients sites as well. It's amazing to watch this company evolve so fast and break every barrier there is to design beautiful Wordpress websites without any coding. The pop-up feature is yet another blessing for businesses and website builders. All pop-up tools I've used before were either too expensive (impressions based) or lacked the design qualities I look for when I choose a design/marketing tool. And they just solved both of these issues with this feature. Amazing.
Yaniv Goldenberg
@dimakagan Thank you so much, Dima!

For what it's worth, here are my two cents as a web user: I hate all sorts of popups with a passion. If I see a popup on a website, I just leave. I don't care how pretty and well designed it is. I went to the website to do something. The popup only delays me and annoys me. I only tolerate them when I really want to read the content (for example, a news website that covers an interesting story I need to read) but they are still just as annoying.
Yoni Luksenberg
@anna_0x You are right! That's exactly the thing we set out to change. Web creators build horrible popups in terms of design and UX, and one of the reasons for this is the use of an external tool. With Elementor Popup Builder, you build popups in the same interface you build your site. In fact, they don't have to be classic popups - they could be used to show related products, educate your audience, make the user experience more personal and enjoyable
Anthony Godinho
Like @anna_0x I also find pop-ups annoying, and in most cases they are, even on some of the top and so called reputable sites. But, I also agree with @yonilux in that pop-ups can be effective when used correctly (as you described) and the important thing is that the pop-ups are built within the same interface. I'm personally more inclined to now sparingly use pop-ups with this new feature. Thank you!
Anna Filou
@yonilux @ajgodinho well, if its a small overlay at the bottom of the page to inform me about a sale or something, perhaps. But not full screen or anything that covers the content even for a second please
Anthony Godinho
I agree with you @anna_0x especially for content. I don't mind the exit pop-up once I'm done consuming the content and I'm on my way out.
Romain Brabant
The music video promo is as sick as your product. Congrats! 🤯
Yoni Luksenberg
@rb242bs Yeah the song is really catchy isn't it?
Romain Brabant
@yonilux Everything is just perfect in the video, the song, the visual, the pitch.... did you do it 100% in house or you outsource the service of an Agency, and dare to share how much it cost to produce it?

If your website runs on Elementor, it would just be natural to continue using all tools in existence.

Pros:

As part of the general trend that is Elementor, the Popup Builder makes a fine addition to the whole arsenal of marketers out there.

Cons:

Well, there are competitors out there such as Poptin and the likes, but they don't cut it.

Yoni Luksenberg
Thanks Avishay for the kind words
Yaniv Goldenberg
Thanks for the review, much appreciated!
Yam Regev

The targeting options make it so easy to display the pop-up exactly where and when you want it.

Cons:

Yoni Luksenberg
@paulparsons1981 Yeah the family is getting bigger and better 😉
M Asif Rahman

If you think about added SaaS feature in other product like Stats, you could still get that with Google Analytics.

Pros:

* Extremely Easy To Design *100s of Free Templates already available * Integration available as well * No Monthly billing * Open ecosystem

Cons:

No cons actually, if you get all those in the pros without paying extra(for Elementor Pro Users), not sure what else you could expect.

Yaniv Goldenberg
Thanks for the great review!
Anthony Godinho

I've been using Elementor for the past 2+ years and it's become my best page builder. I'm amazed by all the new features and improvements that are implemented regularly. Looking forward to a strong 2019 from Team Elementor!

Pros:

Love all the features, widgets and functionality. Regularly updated and improved. I'm using the Pro version of course.

Cons:

The only issue I’ve faced so far (in 2 years) was with properly displaying a second Media Carousel widget on a page.

Yaniv Goldenberg
Keep the feedback coming and hope you enjoy the rest of the experience :)
Robert Nachum
LOVE this product!
Yaniv Goldenberg
@robertnachum7 Thanks so much my friend. Highly appreciated.

This will definitely open the door to some very creative ideas and I can't wait to see what the Elementor community comes up with! Great Job Ben and Team!

Pros:

Love it! Create amazing popups without having to code it myself. No more writing my own custom css/js!

Cons:

A nasty vertical scroll bar can often be seen when setting a popup section to "fit to screen" and requires some custom css to hide it.

You guys are awesome! Glad to be in the journey from the starting! Loving the pop-ups. Looking forward to more exciting things from elementor team Cheers, Kartik Ahuja

Nice works guys!! 💪🏻

Looks great, but I guess you should add trial. A lot of users want to test the product, before buying it for 1 year.
