Hello, Hunters. We’ve released an exciting update for Elmedia Player (8.0) - AirPlay 2 and M1 CPUs are now supported, the interface has been expanded and refined, and there are more options all around. Credit due to @chrismessina - we’re glad you hunted our app! Thanks to Apple Silicon M1 support, Elmedia Player can run on the newest hardware. Whether it’s ARM or x86, the Elmedia experience is always available for our users. Elmedia has also been upgraded with the capability to stream through the AirPlay 2 protocol and to Roku TV devices. The more, the merrier - we always seek to support as many protocols and brands as possible. What about the interface? Some quality-of-life changes were long due. This includes timeline preview thumbnails, subtitle box movement and PiP mode. Some settings were moved to other menus where they made more sense. Overall, every aspect of this update was designed with our users in mind. We hope that you’re satisfied and yearning for more!

This is a cool update. This player is excellent. It is not glitching, and it doesn't make the quality of the video files worse. I was using it some time ago. I enjoyed it, but it couldn't read any video file format, which was a problem for me. This is why I started to use OmniPlayer, which doesn't have this disadvantage. But with the last update, I think I will go back to the previous video player because they made it possible to work with any video format. But before I need to think about this, I have to compare the advantages and the disadvantages of both players.
