This is a neat way to listen to to music. Although not all comments on SoundCloud are that compelling (and yes, some are downright spam), it feels as though I'm listening to the song together with other people. Here's a song by Alina Baraz that I've been playing on repeat.

This is awesome. Seems outsiders do a better job of reimagining the design and focus of Soundcloud than they do themselves, especially from a listeners perspective.

Haha, great name for a SoundCloud comment product! Sadly though, this doesn't work at all for me. Turned off AdBlock and enabled plugins in Chrome (both of which sometimes don't play nice). I frequent SoundCloud often, and I can't think of a single comment I've noticed that I'd want to be MORE visible :-P I'm imagining something like: "bass incoming" "3, 2, ..." "omg" "DRRRROOPPPPP" "YESSS" "this is great peep my mixtape soundcloud.com/..." "0_o" "featured on my playlist soundcloud.com/..." "yes." "this sucks" "i just ___ in my pants" Can someone link to a song with good comments to check out?

Absolutely lovely interface focusing on content. And yes, although I agree on the fact that SoundCloud comments aren't the best, it's still good to see what people you share tastes with have to say.

I love the design & simplicity. Yet I absolutely loathe soundcloud comments (second only to youtube comments). So: cool concept. "Wrong" content. (for me) Edit: Also (as is the case with lots & lots of ideas relying on soundcloud for content) the makers should read up on their Terms of Use for the API. Wish the play function worked on mobile. I like being able to see the comments very clearly. Cool project.

We were on SoundCloud and noticed how funny all the comments were, so we built a simple interface that made the comments the focus of the experience. While playing around with the app we realized there is a communal emotional response, as if you're sharing the song with everyone who has heard it before you. SoundCloud is not just about the music, but about the people who listen to it. We suggest you DRRROP a variety of songs; you may be surprised with the results.
