I built a solution to allow academic researchers to access research datasets they've never been able to get their hands on.
Instead of requiring researchers or universities to deal with a bunch of one-off data licensing with vendors, we handle all of that and provide a simple, single platform for them to subscribe to. Data can be accessed via a web download or API.
This is just day one, so the best days are ahead! I'd love feedback on which data vendors I should get on the platform that would be valuable to unlock for academic research. Our goal is to democratize access to research data, and we're quickly adding new datasets to the platform.
If you're from a company that produces data that may be interesting to researchers, please let us know! Companies that unlock their data get the benefit of great exposure, free content creation, product feedback, and, oh yeah, it's just an awesome thing to support leading research.
