Nice List
I am a little confused on why a founder would need a grey t-shirt, jeans, and white shoes.
But I'm guessing founders need to be fashionable as well :-)

@prestonattebery Great list. I agree there are way too many tools for your business out there, and it can be tough to weed through them if you don't know what you're looking for.
Curious why you chose Basecamp over Asana (or even Trello)?
@nick_neuman I've never used Trello or Asana, but know people who have. From what I can tell, Basecamp is a much more streamlined, simple approach to getting things done. I've used it for several months now and can't recommend it enough. I'm a team of one with a network of freelance designers, so it keeps me, my client, and my designers on the same page throughout the project!
Very helpful! Bootstrapping myself right now. Can't wait to get my white shoes to complete my grey t-shirt and jeans (actually wearing those right now!).
Thanks to @erictwillis for hunting!
I built "Tools to Bootstrap" because many of the startups we help at DesignCue are self-funded founders and many of the founders I'm around at Switchyards in Atlanta are bootstrapping.
I wanted to create a "curated list" that only told the BEST resource, not every possible resource for a given need. For some categories, there's only one resource given. You don't need two legal recommendations, you just need @clerky. You don't need two project management resources, you just need @basecamp.
I live and die by these resources. Mostly, they're affordable, proven and tested by time, and come highly recommended from my own personal experience.
Feel free to take a look and hopefully find the perfect tool for your need!
I don't think you can have a startup list without Trello. First off it's free and secondly it is the most intuitive project management software I've ever used. I think it's way ahead of Basecamp, Wrike, Asana, Google Sheets, etc.
