I’ve been through a lot of budget apps and none ever stuck for me. I’ve been using copilot for a few weeks now and it’s been amazing. The thoughtful design and usefulness of the information presented really makes sticking to your budget as easy as possible. I’d definitely recommend Copilot to anyone trying to get a handle on their finances.

@masondwear Glad to hear you're enjoying it, Mason!

Love the idea behind this app. Any chance we'll be seeing it on Android as well at some point in the future? :)
Andres Ugarte
@branimir_hrzenjak Thank you. And definitely, we started with iOS but we want to grow the team and build the Android app as well.

Congrats Andres, Gabriel on the launch! Copilot has been the only personal finance app that I've used on a daily basis and it's been amazing watching the team ship so much high quality product so quickly...

Copilot is definitely one of the best takes at budget and money management. I love the budget auto-rebalance feature. Love the color indicators, it’s quite easy to understand when you’re approaching your budget limits. Transaction categorization could be improved to be smarter, I feel like there’s still a lot of manual classification that needs to be done. Recurrent transactions are helpful, but are hard to manager. For example, if my rent goes up I want to be able to change the $ amount from a specific date forward, and not whole history of past rent payout transactions. All in all, a great product and I’m excited to see where it’s headed 🙂

Will it support capital one cards in the future? That was one card I wasn’t able to add through your plaid integration

Hi everyone! I’m Andres, the founder of Copilot 👋 With Gabriel we're very happy to announce that Copilot for iOS is finally available in the App Store. It's been a journey of over a year of hard work, and we can't wait to hear what you all think! I started Copilot because I was frustrated and fed up with the limitations of existing personal finance apps. We have complex tools to understand data related to so many aspects of our lives, but when it comes to making sense of our financial data we're still stuck with Mint. So at the end of 2018, I left my job at Google and I built a rough prototype that I forced my friends to use. More than a year later, and after beta testing it with more than a thousand users, we're finally ready to take the next step and launch publicly! Now, to the main features of the app: 🤖 Automatic categorization and tracking. Transactions are organized automatically so they’re as easy to search, sort, and filter as your email inbox. The app uses crowdsourced feedback to continuously improve the experience for everyone who uses it. 🏦 All your accounts in one place. Copilot keeps track of all your bank, credit, and investment accounts so you don’t have to– just link them once and we’ll take care of the rest. 🔁 Subscriptions detection and tracking. Copilot analyzes your transactions and finds most, if not all, of your monthly subscriptions and bills. This helps you understand and track your monthly obligations. 🚘 You’re in the driver’s seat. Choose exactly which notifications you want to receive. Create custom budget categories and name them whatever you want (emojis included!). Any adjustments you want to make are a simple swipe or tap away. The app is currently available in the App Store for $2.99 a month. To get your first month free simply use the invite code FREEPH 🎟 If you're on your phone you can get the code auto-applied when you follow this link: https://copilot.money/link/2SDDp... If you’d like to learn more, we're at https://copilot.money Copilot is currently only available in the US, but we'd love to expand soon. We’d love to hear what you think!

@chuga please expand this to Greece. It seems like an amazing companion app that I would really like to try out!

I've been using copilot for almost two months and love it. It's the only budgeting app that stuck with me. Highly recommend!

I’ve been using Copilot for a few months now and really like it. Transactions show up very quickly and are easy to recategorize/ignore. The app looks really great and has some very helpful features like showing upcoming subscription charges and how I’m tracking against this months budget. The dashboard also shows which areas of my budget I’m getting close to exceeding which is very helpful. The accounts tab has mostly replaced my use of Personal Capital and Copilot supports certain accounts that Personal Capital didn’t. All in all, one of my favorite apps for tracking expenses and definitely one I’m willing to pay for.
Andres Ugarte
@___tcp Wow, thanks for that review Connor.
Graham Gnall
@___tcp 100%. I've tried them all and this legitimately works better than the others. The instant displaying of pending transactions and "review" stages, show a clear understanding of the problem and are so much more reliable than any other service.
Bennett Mathews
The only fintech product for which I'm a dependable DAU. It's made me a better steward of my money and I've had fun in the process. Worth the nominal subscription fee. Ben

This thing is killer! One of the best personal finance management apps I’ve used. I’d love to see credit monitoring added... but as it stands, I’m gaining a ton of value. Thanks so much!

I’ve been using Copilot for a few days and could already tell it’s the best budgeting/finance app I’ve used. Any plans to bring it to iPad sometime in the future?
Andres Ugarte
@new_user_16317448d1 Thank you! Yes, iPad and Mac support are on our list

Have been using Copilot for a few months now and really impressed with the team's approach and product improvements. Now just waiting for the Android app!
Jo Velazquez
Stoked to see Copilot on PH. I first downloaded the app after hearing it as Marshall’s ”cool thing” on the podcast, Design Details. I knew pretty quickly after trying it and talking with Andres that this would replace the Mvelopes app for us. Congrats on the launch, Andres & team 👏🏾
Andres Ugarte
@jo_velazquez_ Jo! Thanks for the love

Love this app so far. I will be converting when the trial ends. Used YNAB since 2013 and wasn't sticking to it lately as it's too manual. It took less time to set up sync on 20 accounts and categorize 12 months in Copilot than to fix sync issues and do 1 month in YNAB. I could also do it all from my phone instead of using a web app. That's a plus to me. Looking forward to native Mac and iPad apps, and tagging/flagging (helpful for suspicious transactions/sharing with spouse).
Jash Sayani
Would be nice to see if my bank is supported before getting a trial. Also, many banks now say that if you link accounts to such apps, they will not be liable for fraud in your account.
Alexandre Giess
Does it support  card?
Andres Ugarte
@alexgiess Hi Alexandre, my understanding is that Apple doesn't let you connect it to third party apps at the moment. We do have the option to track it manually though, and it comes with an easter egg 🥚
John Doe
@alexgiess it does not, but neither does any other app. Apple just doesn’t allow it. I manually added the card and manually track transactions made on that card in the app which works fine.
AJ Frank
I've been using Copilot for several months now and have been very impressed with the clean interface, the ease of bucketing expenses, and the granularity of notification settings. Would highly recommend!
Nicolo S
Looks great, when will you release for the U.K.?
Seb Jachec
@coconidodev It's kind of similar to what Monzo bank offers for free in the UK though – automatic categorisation & tracking of transactions, and you can easily mark subscriptions as recurring and Monzo will start subtracting that from your 'left to spend' amount.
Andres Ugarte
@coconidodev Hopefully soon!
Josh Ruchwarger
Congrats on the launch of your app! Found it while searching the app store last night. I love it so far. It's far superior than Mint, and the other few I have tried over the years. It does what I want, allocates money, and recurring payment. Question, how do I move something from inactive to schedule? I can't get my car payment to move to Schedule bucket. Thank you!
Mike Murray
This is the budgeting app I’ve been looking for my entire life. Super intuitive and does all the work for you. Really well done, team!
