Sure! Basically we took everything we learned from promoting 1000s of articles and blog posts on ContentMarketer.io and found that just tweeting at the people/companies you mention in your posts is enough to lead to big increases in traffic. We carved our full product down to its simplest form so that it's dead-easy and whets your appetite for the other more advanced tools we offer. The process of building it out was freeing because everything fell into place so beautifully. Where our parent product has a lot of advanced uses that can be admittedly a little daunting to some folks, Notifier is highly approachable and can be plugged into your marketing routine so easily because it only takes about 60 seconds start to finish.

Woot! I just used this on a client blog post. Notified 6 tweeps that they had been mentioned in our blog post in record time. I'm in.

@sujanpatel & @colinmatthews - perhaps you could tell us the story behind this, how it differs from others in the space, and what the development process was like?
David Iwanow
Hmmm i like the idea but several of the tests I did for my blog got an error message... Page loaded with status 406 which is kinda annoying the cut and paste html option works fine thou

@davidiwanow Gotcha -- yeah, blogs that have code to block bots can block our scanner. That's why we built the workaround which (especially if you're on Chrome) is super easy. For others reading this -- you click a link that opens your blog in "view source" mode in a new tab and quickly copy your post's content into Notifier to get around bot blocking.

Awesome tool.. and putting it to use right away.. BTW do you think you could do this for FB also? :) .. tag and mention pages.
Sujan Patel
@alimirza2k We're probably going to stay on path with Twitter. FB is a whole another beast

I had a chance to test it out and I gotta say, it's brilliant. I can see Buffer acquiring the product at some point in the future, or possibly competing.

Does you product automatically take care of twitter limits?? in other words, can we get in trouble using this application??
