@hisun_kim It's great to meet you and learn about CoDo. Your product seems like a fantastic solution for enhancing the delivery and tracking of Notion pages.. Best of luck with your product launch and the CoDo party! π
Congrats, Tem CoDo!!! It's incredible product!! π Bc, most people check SMS first than email, so it makes the work process easier! But I'm curious when we send SMS, can we check they read?? But I'm sure notion+sms would be so powerful! Love it!!
@sentry_co Hi Andre, we find very often the email invites are buried and ignored. Our data showed sms has about 2X more activation rate over email invites.
@hisun_kim Won't that change if we start to use sms more? Personally I hate sms, as I has poor spam filters and is starting to clog up. To the point that I have turned it off completely by going 100% flight-mode . and rely on instagram for DM.
@sentry_co You are right - it is possible. What we are trying to build is, though, a frictionless way of picking up necessary knowledge/instruction for recipients, as an alternative to emails. It starts with SMS, but will expand with other ways of effective deliveries.
@hisun_kim I think the future is purposeful messaging. If I want to talk to my bank. I go to the bank app. Tax office, I go to the tax app. Centralised messaging doesn't work because it gets spammy and we lose our attention and peace of mind. This would be 10x If you put out a super simple mobile app connected via the matrix messaging protocol or just firebase. It would take a few days to make.
@sentry_co I agree that purposeful messaging has bright future. However, there are also times that people/companies pass over information/instruction/knowledge with light touchpoint. For example, I need to tell my house-sitters (different people each time) about house details, or equip short-term hires with quick hands-on instructions, or send out wedding weekend agenda to venue customers, etc. Not everyone can create a messaging app. Not every team would prioritize building it. Nor it is realistic to expect my house-sitters to download an app.
Congrats on the launch @hisun_kim! This is surely a nice way to send instructions and it's different from using Loom, Slack, or email -- what will the pricing be like?
Congrats on the launch, team! Looks like a very cool and easy to use way to make Notion knowledge sharing more efficient. What prompted you to create this product?
@sayoni_dutta_roy Hi Sayoni, thank you for your comment. It's not just one card. You are actually creating a card deck and send it over a mobile SMS. So if the content you want to deliver is lengthy, you can break it down to multiple cards with each in a bite-size.
@hisun_kim Got it. It might also be great in future if you can break a lengthy content for a user automatically or maybe suggest a suitable breakpoint.
I have been watching how passionate CoDo team is for building a great product for training/education/onboarding.
This seems to be a great way to share information like slidedeck.
Congratulations, Tem CoDo! Your product is absolutely incredible! π Because most people check SMS before email, it greatly simplifies the work process. However, I'm curious if we can track SMS read receipts. Nonetheless, I am convinced that the combination of notion+sms would be extraordinarily powerful! I absolutely love it!!
Congratulations on the launch! π
It is a game-changer to have everything someone passionate about music and songwriting needs in one place, from finding instrumentals to writing lyrics!π
Looking forward to seeing how Lyrist empowers musicians and streamlines their songwriting process.
Best of luck and kudos on this fantastic launch!π
I am writing to express my utmost satisfaction and gratitude for the recently launched Notion Mobile Card App. As a long-time user of the Notion platform, I have come to rely on its versatility and organizational capabilities for both personal and professional purposes. The addition of the Mobile Card App has significantly enhanced my productivity and made managing tasks on the go an absolute breeze.
Congratulations on the launch! It's great to see SMS making a comeback. I'm curious about how your platform handles DND numbers. Does it have a filtering system in place to ensure that SMS messages are not sent to numbers on the Do Not Disturb (DND) list?
I'm an older user than most who hang out on PH. But in my business (Startups/Angel Investing/Venture Capital) Notion has become to the platform of choice. So I'm all in on CoDo's idea of Mobile Cards!
Congratz on your Launch!
Gotta say have never heard of Email being dead.
I can create cards and send a link to anyone I want, right?
No I'm not restricted to only sms and email.
If so, perhaps this could be clarified, that SMS and email are just two options you provide, but the user can send the link via any plattform he wants, whether it is Signal, Whatsapp, MS Teams, Slack or something else.
@fabian_untermoser Hi Fabian, you are right. You can send the cards with a link and any messaging option. With SMS and email, our app provides no-login access while still tracking the consumption.
