Coment is a tool for monitoring and managing all comments on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Disqus and WordPress with a single click, all from one single dashboard. Plus, it's for free!
Hi Product Hunt 👋
It’s Denise, Product Manager of Coment.
Today we’re super excited to share Coment with the Product Hunt community after months of hard work!
As you already know around the globe, online comments have become an essential ingredient of digital presence and those comments are also an extremely valuable resource for marketers.
That’s why Coment allows you to monitor, moderate and manage all online comments in one place in real-time. Plus, it’s totally FREE!
We created Coment with the ambition of helping you save time and money, simplifying your comment management process and improving your community management in every aspect.
We’re still working on our product and of course, our goal is to make Coment better! We would love to hear your opinions and feedback! You can easily sign up to Coment with your Facebook, Twitter or Google account.
For now, Coment supports;
Facebook Pages, Ads, Comments Plugin, Live Streaming
Instagram
YouTube
WordPress
Twitter
Disqus
More platforms to come, it’s only the beginning; if you’re an app owner, you’ll be able to connect your App Store and Google Play reviews soon!
We’d love to hear your feedback in the comments! You can also email us at hi@coment.io and reach us at @coment_io on Twitter.
I’ll be around to answer questions and explain Coment’s awesome features, please ask me anything!
Cheers Everyone,
Denise
@coment@coment_io@denisedemir Hi Denise - can you recommend any other tools that are similar to Coment? I need something very close to what you had built! :)
Coment is pretty useful and can ave you time. It enables you to view all your comments and replies from different social media platforms all in one place. Then you can reply directly to the messages right from the Coment interface. There's a Slack integration (of course) and automatic flagging of inappropriate comments and spam. Check it out, they have a free plan!
@uyguntt@arunsathiya Just like a Slack integration, you'll be able to monitor and manage all comments through Telegram's channel. But, like i said it's not on our roadmap for now.
@denisedemir Discovered the Live Streaming feature + Slack integration. Mind = Blown. Truly the greatest app I have discovered this year on Product Hunt.
@arunsathiya Arun, your feedback made us very happy! We're so glad that you loved it! We'll be working hard to make Coment better and will add new awesome features soon! Thanks for your great support!🙌🏻🎉
@dredurr Thanks Deandre! Coment supports Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Disqus, and WordPress - it'll support App Store, Google Play and more platforms in the near future. So you can think of it as one tool for all online comments.
In terms of dashboard design, we tried to keep it as simple and easy-to-use as possible. Glad you liked it! :)
@denisedemir I'm hoping you involve other smaller communities soon. Such as Growthhackers, Inbound, Quora
That is a huge pain in the @$$ to post to.
You have to constantly monitor them, or hope that you get a tweet after you post. Or you will miss a response to a comment.
@dredurr That's a great suggestion, Deandre! Adding Quora and other platforms into our system seems rational for the near future.
And yes, we want you to never worry about missing a comment again - that's why we collect all comments from all your platforms in real-time and notify you for every new comment on your profiles.
Same applies to Twitter and you can also search specific words or hashtags using our Twitter Streaming feature.
@romikid Hi Romi, I guess you're asking about Twitter mentions, right?
For Twitter, you can define keywords from Platforms > Twitter > Filter Streaming and then track the comments/mentions/tweets/replies etc. that contains your pre-set keywords.
I just signed up, glad to see the free tier. Two suggestions: 1- I would like to see each comment belongs to which post. 2- I would like to see more insight into the profiles who post comments. Now it's only showing their usernames, while showing their profile pictures and amounts of followers or even their bios might be very useful.
@farbodsaraf Hey Farbod, thanks for your suggestions. For the first suggestion, you can actually see it on our dashboard already. Just click the little blue link next to the comment and it takes you to the post where the comment was made. Or just use our filtering system -on top of the comment list- to manage comments by post. For the second suggestion - that's actually a great point! We'll definitely add it as a new feature!
@enisgayretli Hi Enis, for now you can only monitor - but pretty soon you'll be able to reply to comments and hide or delete them through Slack. Stay tuned! :)
@hanfordscott Hey Scott, thanks for the great comment!🙏🏼We're looking forward to meeting with your teammate then. Looks like we are on the same wavelength!😏😏
Hey Baris,
Thanks for your review!
We created Coment not only for "famous" social media users but for everyone in the online world - hope you'll enjoy it! @baris_boy
@ilkerkoksal Hi Ilker, No we don't have any limitations in terms of comment volume. It doesn't matter how many followers you have or how many comments you receive on a daily basis - no limitations! :)
For Coment - This can be a very useful tool. Congrats on the launch. We could provide an interesting channel for you if you have API's. Can we connect and discuss?
For the PH community - are there any comparable/competitive offerings in the market?
Thank you!
@paulagupta Hey Paula, thanks for your interest! Yes, we have an API which enables us to integrate with different channels. Can you please send an email to hi@coment.io we'd love to connect and discuss! :)
Great idea - I look forward t o testing it and sharing the platform in my digital comms workshops
Wondering if you pick up DM's in Twitter, Instagram and Facebook Messages?
Any plans to add Facebook Groups, Pinterest, Facebook Events and G+?
Do you have plans to integrate escalation of messages especially if the platform is being used by a support team but they need to raise an issue with other departments such as at times of crisis management and also integration into CRM tools?
@krishnade Hey Krishna, thanks for this great comment! For now, picking up DM's is not our priority since we prefer to focus on public comments. However, adding Facebook Groups and Events seems doable.
And yes, we'll integrate escalation messages, that's definitely on our roadmap for the near future!
@denisedemir Thanks for your reply - I hope you might reconsider DM's as that is important for customer support and being responsive
And as I asked - any plans for Pinterest and G+ and I forgot to add LinkedIn to re comments on posts and even Groups?
@krishnade I'll take note of that DM's issue and think about it for sure, thanks for the feedback Krishna!
For adding Pinterest, G+ and LinkedIn - that's definitely on our roadmap! Adding new platforms to Coment is really important for us since we want our users to manage ALL comments in one place. And by saying ALL comments we really mean it! 😄
At the moment, I'm just not sure which platform we're gonna add first - so PH community's suggestions are really helping us on that! Thanks again!
