After a year of all working from home, we are all familiar with the "Zoom fatigue" and the necessity of organizing activities for the teams to bound. CodinEscape brings a whole new dimension, offering a real escape room experience but online while helping collaboration between tech and non-tech folks in the team.
Wladimir Delcros
@picsoung Thank you Nico for this message full of love. It is very important that the tech and non-tech teams collaborate! Even more during the pandemic, replace the on-site coffee break with an escape game. 😊
Alex Freas
Cool idea! Would love to do this with our cross-functional team. How long are the games typically (duration)?
Loick Michard
@sashimiblade Between 45min and 2hours depending on the game and your detective skills ;)

👋 all! Thanks for hunting us! 💪 Coding Escape is a new collaborative and inclusive experience allowing tech teams to bond and work together. We know how difficult communication between coders and non-coders can be, and the spread of remote work has increased this gap. To be efficient and retain talent, team cohesion and communication is essential. 🚀 How can we help? By offering a 100% remote, free and online escape experience. You can play with family, friends, or colleagues. Don't hesitate to invite non-coders along for the ride! It's a race against the clock in a collaborative way! 🕵️ This all-new challenging experience offers both coders and non-coders the chance to have fun together, as a team. For now, we have 3 exciting missions: Steam house, Aguateca collapse, Back to the 80s. Each mission takes between 60 and 90 minutes to complete. You will have to share information and discoveries with your team to progress. Work together to fulfill your mission. 📣 Coding Escape is still in beta, we would love to hear feedback from the PH community. Your ideas on new themes and use cases are welcome! Loick.

@alen_kurl You will love it for sure !

We at Landbot are super interested in trying it with the team as soon as we get access! Congrats on the launch, it looks really cool!
John Lafleur
We did one with the team at Airbyte. It was a really great experience! We already asked to do a 2nd one!! And we're a remote team that plays together one hour a week, so we're used to great games. :)
Loick Michard
@jean_lafleur Thanks John! I hope you will enjoy the two other ones as much!
Wladimir Delcros
Wow! Congratulations on the launch! This is really great for team building. It's super important to weld tech and non-tech teams together. Even more so in the context we are in. GG 👏
Aude Barral
Guys, please, try this with your non-coder pals: they'll love it. Congrats for the game, it's really immersive! And thanks for the fun 🤩
Frédéric Desmoulins
I've had the chance to play the "Back to 80's" coding escape with my team and we all really loved it. The ability to plug items to your program (connecting them as inputs or outputs) is a fantastic idea. Congrats 👏
Wladimir Delcros
@fdesmoulins Hey congratulations for this suite of tools that CodinGame offers to techs AND NOW non-techs! 🚀
Ludovic Farine
?makers that's the kind of initiative that i like to see! Great for team building as we've got some new colleagues coders or not, who joined us since but only remotely. So that will be perfect! Well done Nico and team
Thibaud Jobert
In these harsh pandemic times where people need connections more than ever, this game is perfect for having a great time with friends or colleagues. Inclusive game with a great attention to details. Congrats!
Joelle Ramondou
Here we are! Well done to have launch it! 👏 What could be better for team building ? Having fun in these times, it's complicated.. so thank you! :D
Wladimir Delcros
@joelle_ramondou Hey Joelle ! Thank you so much! This is the perfect tool for happiness managers! Don't hesitate to have your teams test it!
Edoardo Scarpa
That's a great idea! I myself got into coding recently and must say I'm not that good yet, but it's nice that we can collaborate and use each other's strengths to solve fun puzzles. Plus, I am a big fan of escape rooms IRL so this is a nice throwback to when we could do them :)
Wladimir Delcros
@edo975 Keep Going Dude! If you're passionate about it, you can do it! The best way to learn is through our BtoC platform
Anyway, we are compatible with non-developers now :) 🤘
Alexis Christine-Amara
I was so impatient to see this launch! Perfectly fitted for team building, and even more in this pandemic-remote-life. As a non-tech, I’m finally able to collaborate with engineers without feeling lost in the Space. Or at least we are in the same spaceship to find out how to sort it out! GG 👏👏
Wladimir Delcros
@alexis_christine_amara Of course! We can now have a good time with the tech team! The market or sales team has found another hobby other than BabyFoot! ⚽
Lucas Portet
Congrats on your launch 🎉 Can't wait to try it, the Clash of Code games are already so great!
Wladimir Delcros
@lucas_p Thanks Lucas for the upvote! I hope you will do an escape game with @b_maurin at Deux.io. See you soon 🤘
Loick Michard
@lucas_p Clash Of Code is fantastic to compete and learn, Coding Escape to collaborate and communicate !
Yevhenii Peteliev 🇺🇦
Wow! Great job! I can't wait when I try it with my friends 🖤 Congratulations!
Samuel Olivier
I had the opportunity to try the CodingEscape with coders and non-coders friends, the feedback was unanimous : it's a great team experience with awesome gameplay and it's really useful to introduce coding to non coders 😀
Frédéric Trégon
Had a great time with wife and kids (both non coders). A nice way of showing my girls what coding can bring to the game.

Hello, we tested the three available rooms with my sister and brother-in-law (we loved to do IRL escape games before the pandemic), and it was a great experience, even for my sister who is not in coding (she loved the first room "The Steam House", and as a biologist, she was fond of the third room "Rescue Mission" as well ; she was a bit less enthusiastic with the second room "Back to the '80s" whose logic is less accessible for non-coders). All the rooms to come seem very promising and I can't wait to see them! Keep up the good work and thanks for CodingEscape, a ray of sunshine during those hard times :)
Simon Bruins
Excellent virtual escape room. Lots of fun with colleagues and friends. Looking forward to many new rooms!
