@liviooo For the user side (i.e. widget) we can add it in a matter of days if somebody makes a translation. E-mail me at yakov@chatra.io if you are up to that — I'll appreciate your help! Agent dashboard is also easy to translate, but has much more text, and, I believe, is less important. Let me know what you think!
A simple live chat solution, worth a shot if you're looking for something simple and functional. I really like the group chat and seeing the visitor's typing features.
Hi guys and thank @kwdinc for sharing! We've built Chatra to bring modern messaging experience to customer support.
How we are different? → https://chatra.io/vs-others
In short: a) group chats (AMAZES visitors, when few agents are helping at the same time) b) live typing insights (see what visitors type before they hit "send") c) conversation history (we save past conversations for both you and your customers, even if they close their browser. d) correct messages after you sent them d) great modern UI in both widget and an agent dashboard.
Our nice free plan is free forever, and you can have up to 5 agents online at the same time on it.
Let me know what you think and please give us a try!
@jasonhitchcock Hi Jason! Thank you so much! We are working hard on integrations, first one is going to be Zapier as a one-stop-shop. It will help me greatly if you can elaborate on what's ideal helpdesk integration for you. Please feel free to e-mail me at yakov@chatra.io, if that's convenient — this will really help us to head in the right direction. As for the voice, it's quite easy to add, but not sure how many users will actuall use it — after all people often prefer live chat to avoid voice conversations. Anyways, that's something we can consider on a later stage, thanks for suggesting!
@jasonhitchcock I set it up so offline messages go to our support@ email instead of to the admin. That feeds right into our help desk system. Might be a temporary workaround. Love the idea of Zapier!
Nice job @yakovkarda, loving it so far. Quick question, would it be possible to allow users to add their name? Or maybe even require it before chatting? Would love to be able to refer to customers by their first name.
Implementation was super easy and I am up and running as we speak. :)
@yakovkarda awesome thanks! It's been so amazing to chat with our users thus far. I've got a couple of other items I've noticed. Mind if I email you them?
+1 for names: one of our agents saw Sandy Brown (because that was the color) and thought that was their name. Agent started calling customer Sandy...his name was Mike! Whoops. Haha
@kevinz Kevin, you absolutely should e-mail me, thank you :-) yakov@chatra.io . As for the names, I will make sure we get rid of those who have their "First" name look confusingly human. And the pre-chat form is on it's way!
Chatra is one of many live chat solutions but it definitely finds its niche with some interesting visitor's typing peeping, easy group conversations, and clear pricing.
In picksaas, we liked it especially for the mobile application it provides.
This looks amazing! Can this be integrated to any website? I understand the managers would be able to answer literally from everywhere (even a Nintendo DS!) but from where are our customers going to contact us?
@rutgerteunissen Thank you Rutger! Yes, it can be integrated to any website or web app and you'll have a widget there — for your customers to chat with you. An then managers can do their job from our agent dashboard (browser, desktop or mobile). Not sure if it works on 3DS but visitor-side widget of course does :-)
Great product. Will be switching from LiveChat to this one. However, wish there would be a "Department" feature, where each agent, windows customization, etc. is per department. Running different websites (products) with different agents requires one to sign up with two accounts and run two chat clients (that's why we used LiveChat). Any way this would make it into a future version?
When I message your team at chatra.io using my iPhone 6 and Safari Mobile, the keyboard pops up and obscures the message input box. Is this a known issue?
I need something to use an app inbox for my mobile app (iOS + Android) so that people can write to us and we can respond. Do you think Chatra would work for us?
