How many customers do you get from ChatGPT ?
Over the last few months more and more companies have shared that ChatGPT has become one of their top acquisition channel
Some examples:
🔹 Guillermo Rauch, CEO of Vercel, explained that they went from getting 1% to 10% of their sign-ups coming from ChatGPT within 6 months
🔹 Marie Martens, Co-founder of Tally, said that they scaled from 2 to $3M ARR in the span of 4 months thank to a major influx of customers coming from ChatGPT & Perplexity
Are you using ChatGPT as a customer acquisition machine yourself ? What's your strategy ? Do you use any tools to measure the impact of your efforts ?

Querri
When I searched for our company @Querri in ChatGPT, I was happy to see that it gave a really great description of what we do and how we can help small business owners. We are currently working on very specific use case pages with customers & LLMs in mind for marketing. Our numbers are still small, but hoping to get more leads via ChatGPT and other LLM tools in the future.
@amy_ingram interesting, did you try searching exactly for it ? on a fresh account / incognito mode or on your own account where you might have asked about the company already (and it being in memory?)
have you tried running "adjacent" queries like searching for best solutions to get business data insights etc ?
Querri
@m_dolr In an incognito window with an unassociated account, I asked, "Can you help me understand what Querri does?" The answer was very detailed and great. I also asked, "I own a consulting business. Could Querri help me work with my clients' data faster?" The answer explained how our product could help.
I did not try running an "adjacent" query yet. I should try that next, but will need to open a new account, so I don't skew the results ;-).
@amy_ingram working on a tool to automate monitoring etc if you're interested i could show you!
Querri
@m_dolr sure!

actually a lot for https://belkins.io/. we are getting insane traffic and we prepared a lot of things in advance for AEO type of SEO*
@belkins super interesting, to what extent do you measure it ? I think we should talk if you wanna double down on that strategy I might have the right tool for you!
Tila AI
we've also made getting featured in AI tools part of our SEO game plan at Tovie AI.. Some folks have pointed out that this ties closely to web SEO practices, and I'm looking for a way to track inquiries directly from these sources since right now, we depend on our clients to tell us about them
@tachikomaghost yea, there are 2 ways right now, I know profound and another tool offer query data but they gather it by offering free access to higher tier models through API calls which doesn't really reflect the reality of the exact response you might get from a ChatGPT
I think Similarweb however has a dataset of free anonymized real user queries that they got thanks to their extension
I think in general, if you are a visible in search, you should be visible in LLMs. But you have to be aware, that LLMs search queries very differently from humans. They are more "long-tail" and elaborate, so i think you have to check how would LLM search the semantic core you already have and make slight adjustments.
Yes, we have recently been learning how to enhance the SEO of our products in AI models. do you all have any avenues of learning?
we have started getting some traffic at SaaS Marketing Gurus through ChatGPT. We Just focused on making our content easy to understand so it shows up in AI answers. Still tricky to track, but we’ve seen more people reaching out lately.
Graphify
Those numbers are truly crazy
Did some AISEO for a recent client and chatGPT generates about 2% of their signups now from 0%
@johnson_delight interesting did you use any tool to help you with that ?
