There are so many great analytics tools out there. One of my favorites that takes on a slightly different flavor is Chartbeat. The biggest difference is that it helps to understand the various states that people are in, along with real-time analytics. Seeing exactly when and where people engage can be really insightful, especially once you add and compare it to all of the other engagement metrics and usage patterns you're tracking. And their blog is really great too :)

I'm definitely a fan, one of the companies I consult for uses it and its proven very helpful with our content distribution strategies figuring out how people are using our site in real-time and what articles are helping us push the most traffic.
