We tried a different approach for all the travel and photography apps by leveraging AI and focusing on higher quality photos. What do think about this approach?

@thomas_anderl Can't wait to use it!

Hey, congratulations! In addition to discovering local landmarks, will you consider adding hidden-gem restaurants and local food in the future?

Thomas Anderl

@focusaur Hey, it is currently not planned, but if this is what the users want, I will definetly consider it :)

I like these kinds of products :) Any imbition to create one version for people who are mainly desktop? :)

Thomas Anderl

@busmark_w_nika Hello ;) I am glad you like the idea :) Desktop (and Web) Support is something I already planned and will finalize in the future. Currently I was focusing on mobile-first tho.

Nika
@thomas_anderl Cool! Desktop would be appreciated :)

Launching soon!
I'm fed up with the generic, formulaic suggestions for places to go, making this app a real lifesaver. Is the service available in every region?
Thomas Anderl

@kay_arkain Hey! Yes, it is available everywhere for iOS and Android :)

This looks fantastic! As someone who loves to travel and capture memories, this app seems like the perfect way to document my adventures. Congrats on the launch!

I used to search online for recommended local hidden spots, but sometimes I was greatly disappointed when I actually visited them. I'm curious about how BeenThere discovers these uncovering hidden gems. However, I really like its feature of collecting travel footprints.

This is cool, is there a tagging with friends you visited the places with? Community interaction could push adoption. Also, could you possibly prompt users to the app when on the move? Check on their IP address and if different to their home place a nudge to upload?

This is an interesting approach to travel and photography apps! How does the AI aspect enhance the user experience compared to traditional apps?

Congratulations! a few quick thoughts,

I uploaded some famous Indian monuments, but it didn't catch all of them - wondering why

Would be awesome if it could identify restaurants too

Also, any chance this could be turned into a web extension for Google Maps? That’d be interesting
