@rrhoover hey buddy! Not sure we need to automate the parenting role 😂 but getting this into high-quality audio is on the near-term todo. Essentially we are doing a few things:
1. Allowing the parents to record when they read the story, which gets attached to the story URL as an audio track.
2. If there is no parent recording, then we are trying different AI voice solutions, we want something very human, and not synthetic.
3. Integrating BTS with your home assistant, so that you can get the stories played as audio on your Google Home, Alexa, Siri speaker device. Distribution is key here.

@yanavlatchkova - Like I wrote in my initial comment, it works alright with pretty much any language you write in, and you can be explicit about the output being written in, let's say french. and it will write in french.
I love making up bedtime stories for my niece. Guess I can use this one day when I get a bit stuck.
@jsteneros - yes exactly this, and/or create a whole bunch of stories about your Niece in situations or adventures that you can come back to, or spin off. We had the exact same issue with our kids, @jenniedalgren would tell our daughter a story about a dino, and a squirrel, and then I would not know the story and our daughter would request it, and I would not be able to tell it. or at least not the way she expected it.

Hey all 👋. Really excited to launch this product! Bedtime reading is a big part of our lives as parents and we love the old classics like Good night Moon.
This product is really important to us though as it helps us craft stories of the wonderful everyday things that really matter and bring some magic to them. And it's just really good fun!
If I see some ants I point them out to my daughter and we write a story about ants and what they do every day.
If we see some plants I can write about photosynthesis and turn it into a bit of education.
If we had some nice veggies I can reinforce a positive message about them by writing about magical broccoli going on an adventure.
We hope you find as much entertainment with your own children and it brings out a new creative side for you all. We certainly have found it has for us.

@brian_foody What a great idea! It's so important for kids to have creative outlets like this, and it's wonderful that you're making these stories so accessible through your product launch.
I've made a few stories now and love the way they can captivate my daughters. If you're like me and have read the same bedtime books to your kids over and over again then bedtimestory.ai will definitely be a breath of fresh air for you and your children.
I've been following this project from the very beginning. So cool to see you whip this up quickly and have it come to life in a matter of weeks!

Can you please add a text-to-voice button with some nice background music. This will help millions of parents.. hehe :D I just tested the product and it looks cool. Congratulations on the launch!
@naveed_rehman - Thank you! we are adding audio to paid accounts, here is a little demo of an enhanced story (a story with more dialog) and read by Google voice.
We probably won't use google text-to-voice but something more bespoke, like our own trained voice model or something like this.
We will integrate with your home assistant, so Alexa, Siri or Google Home. Will support this.
Let me know if you want to be a beta tester of the audio when it drops.

We had at that point already been working on it for a while. We do wish everyone a good look at this, it's going to be a crowded space for sure, we have our angle and moat, and others will try their things.
