The reason we have built Beams is because we saw the unique opportunity of creating a space for people to come together and start podcasts within seconds. A place where everyone can leave up 90-seconds voice notes on subjects that matter to them. We launched Beams in the iOS App Store in April 2021. It's the easiest way to start a podcast with others.

@nick_j2 thank you for your note! In regards of question on Android: for sure Beams will come to Android. We decided to launch on iOS to get live as soon as possible and are also working on bringing Beams to Android. Biased, but I've been loving playing around with Beams - so much more intimate and casual than a long podcast or conversation. These are the digitally healthy social spaces we need!

@muellaire in the first two months we have seen young creators taken to Beams talking about their passions on e.g. surfing, football, nail art, meditation, poetry as well as topics around creativity and identity. And thank you also for your point on discovery. As for now we offer a discovery of fresh content and new community members when you open search on our app. In the near future we will provide more ways to discover both great people to collaborate on a podcast as well as new great content.
