👋 Hello PH community! This is Diego from SHER. We are super happy to finally release this project that we were working on from the last year. It's on beta status but all the important pieces are there. So, **what is SHER?** It is a new kind of streaming platform. The are 2 main differences. First one, is on the content distribution model, which is P2P. Being decentralized adds a higher privacy model for free. With SHER you can stream privately or go public, and made your show easily discoverable by others using our discovery service. The other big difference is in the streaming organization. From it's design we made it really easy to decouple tasks when streaming. In SHER you can be an operator, a streamer or both. In addition to this, we spent some time learning the current streaming landscape and its pain points. Now, let's think how traditional streaming platforms work. They put all the responsibility on the streamers shoulders. Streamers need to setup everything (hardware & software), probably going through lots of reviews and tutorials first. Then, they need to have a _pristine_ internet connection, and finally don't forget the content, of course! We recognized all these pain points and made them really easy tasks.
