OneLink by AppsFlyer — Send mobile app users to the right place with deep linking
Featured
53
OneLink's deep links detect if your app is installed on the user's device. Send new users to the app-store to download the app, and then to the contextual content after installing. Existing users will be sent to the contextual in-app content automatically.

Hi @braysonware! Great to talk to an existing customer. Time spent in app is an interesting metric and we are certainly considering adding that to the platform. Breakdown of individual user activity is already possible using your raw data through AppsFlyer or through our Audiences product with its rich behavioral segmentation capabilities. Let me know if you want more information.

Seems like a great tool to market yourself easily while maintaining strict security protocols. I like that. I'm always looking to learn about new marketing tools that aren't difficult or complicated. This seems to take care of several marketing avenues in one place.

@mrsdeegee Let us know once you've tried it out! We can't wait to hear what you think!

As a user, I hate when a link opens within the current app using, and not the proper page in the app. It happens in Facebook, for example, when opening an Instagram post.
Alon Rapaport
Hey @erikemanuelli , this is a vary valid point. Many social apps put a lot of effort to keep you from navigating away from their app. That’s where a deep linking solution like OneLink is essential. OneLink enables you to create different behaviour depending on the context. In case you have the app installed, OneLink will enable to open the app and navigate you to the relevant deep link within the app. As opposed to navigating to the website within the social app’s built-in browser. This creates a more logical and delightful user experience.

So what’s different or what are the advantages of this solution vs branch.io?
Eran Dunsky
Hi @masterserge ! That is a great question. Deep linking and attribution go together. Users can be acquired through a deep link (you can’t guarantee if they have the app), and they can be re-engaged through the deep link. Understanding the performance of your user engagement is a fundamental part of deep linking as well. AppsFlyer’s expertise in the realm of attribution completes OneLink’s deep linking capabilities with full blown analytics, including data access, ROI and LTV insights, and audience segmentation capabilities. Branch is a great deep linking product but the true value is in combining deep link related activities to actionable marketing insights. What are your thoughts on this?
Eran Dunsky
@masterserge @alexdbauer Branch is indeed a neat little deep linking product, and we are eager to see Branch's nascent journey into attribution. Good Luck!

A great idea to make the use of apps more efficient, I'm not a great App user because of all the fiddling about, but sounds like OneLink will take away my resistance. Hope it is widely used.
Dror Davidi
Hi @joy_healey! You are absolutely correct - handling deep linking correctly and making a smooth transition for web to app is exactly the challenge that OneLink is designed to solve. It is widely used by top brands and by many users worldwide, across multiple verticals.

Hey there hunters, thanks for dropping by to check our powerful OneLink product! Thanks @razkarmi for hunting us! As you already know, the benefit of apps to brands is undeniable. Apps are well known to have significantly higher user loyalty and conversion rates than mobile websites. There are three main reasons: 1) apps tend to offer a more efficient and satisfying experience for users 2) brands can more easily communicate and connect with customers through instant updates and push notifications and 3) apps give users online and offline access. Since loyalty and higher conversion rates are bottom line goals for any brand, deep linking makes it much easier to attain both. Deep linking is the glue that connects the mobile universe together, fixing broken flows as users navigate between the mobile web and apps and between different apps. And it significantly improves the user experience; an absolute must to reduce churn. OneLink, deep linking technology has become one of the most powerful performance hacks used by savvy app marketers. While many recognize the importance of deep linking to the mobile user experience, few truly understand the power of deep linking for your marketing campaigns and how, simply put, they create a whole new way to connect with your users. No wasted clicks, just the perfect conversion path, always. Check it out for yourself and request a demo. And please let us know what you think. We'd really cherish your candid feedback.

Sounds like a very useful product, I'm usually spending quite a lot of time creating too many links for the different operating systems. One question tho. Is this OneLink product good for owned and earned media only or does it work for sponsored/paids ads as well?
Dror Davidi
Hi @shmuel_cohen! Thanks for your feedback! OneLink is a great solution for all of your marketing campaign types - owned and earned media, paid ads and sponsored campaigns. OneLink is indeed the perfect solution for the challenge you described - it allows you to use a single link for all platforms and devices by delivering a frictionless user experience with analytics built in.
Oded Onn

You can bring users straight to certain parts of the app and OneLink recognizes if the user is on iOS/Android/Web etc and direct them to the right app store or landing page on your website. Another cool feature is that you can use it in email campaigns (UA and retention) and it doesn't break via ESP - we used it with Braze (via integration for SendGrid) and it worked flawlessly. You can also make the OneLink branded (ie. the link contains your brand name up front) so customers trust the link and are comfortable clicking on it.. Highly recommended!

Pros:

Super powerful and intuitive deep-linking capability that supported my mobile app for "refer a friend" and UA campaigns

Cons:

not really
