After a small exit, I decided to go nomad for a year, and while I did some content creation ( got 550k+ followers just because of my French accent haha) I decided to build a product for Nomad. I would love to get some feedback and be challenged on the concept. The idea is to build a platform where nomads can spontaneously create ‘Coliving on Demand’ – Think BlaBlaCar’s meets Airbnb’s On my travels, I’d often come across stunning 4-bedroom villas, but I don’t always have 4 friends down to travel with me. So, I thought, why not create a tool where any traveler can share an Airbnb listing and team up with other nomads? This way, not only do we make these stunning stays more affordable, but we also open doors to connecting with like-minded wanderers ( as they said we are the average of the five people we spend the most time with) It’s still in the early MVP stages, but I would love to get your input on it. And of course, any feedback or ideas for cool features you’d want to see would be incredibly valuable! 🙏 https://airmeet.app/

@bengue_z I love the way you’ve framed it as a “BlaBlaCar meets Airbnb” — that’s a perfect analogy for the concept. You could also think about adding features that allow users to vet potential roommates based on interests, travel styles, or even personality traits, so that people are more likely to vibe with each other. Perhaps integrating some form of rating system or “compatibility” tool could help?

@tonyabracadabra yes it’s on our roadmap ! Push for more roommates recommendations

Sam @CRANQ
Great plan - I have to say it's a common issue when you want to travel & find like-minded individuals & escape the hostel lifestyle & rent something more permanent - I think this is MEGA idea.
Ben Guez
@cranqnow MEGA Thank you

@hamza_afzal_butt , @bengue_z , @sean_airmeet - congrats on the launch. 🎉️ How do you ensure compatibility among travelers sharing a space? Juyst curious. Also, are there features in mind to match people based on preferences or habits?
Ben Guez
@hamza_afzal_butt @sean_airmeet @ashitvora Yes we match people based on same interest and living habit!

Great idea! Fingers crossed! I'm planning to work&travel in a bit, and having the chance to skip hostels would be a blessing. To find people who also are on worcation would be amasing!
Ben Guez
@dariusz_wisniewski1 Thats exactly why we are building this!

That's interesting! I am in the target! But following: "It's not the place that matters, but the person you're with" maybe also it makes sense to "list people" and their expectations. And within this list places where the particular group can stay? Happy to follow! Especially when I am going to Bali with friend in Jan 😆
Ben Guez
@mzaremski Yes on your profile you will be able to be more detailed about what you looking for - appreciate the comment Marcin! And yes this is perfect for Bali haha

crazy i was talking w my mom abt something similar-ish earlier today. i love it. some work to do on the UI but i think its a good concept just needs to get people. i’m traveling to europe for a few months and wanted to meet like minded entrepreneurs to stay at places with. so this is great
Ben Guez
@jibran_akhtar TY could you please give me feedback on the Ui?

@bengue_z 1. button text is 1-2px too large and also looks like the text in the button needs to move up 1-2px (doesn’t seem centered. could be an issue with the font file) 2. when the screen is smaller, the area where you select details (location, check in, etc) is too crammed (when the things are stacked vertically rather than horizontal layout). even when on a larger screen and these are laid out horizontally, i’d have the divider lines be 1px wide and be a lighter gray or bit a slighter darker color compared to the background of the page 3. the “let’s go” button stretches all the way when in the vertical stack on a smaller screen, i’d give it a max width or position in differently 4. when not selected and i hover the icons in the sidebar menu, the background of that icon turns black but the icon needs to turn white so there is proper contrast (icon stays dark gray when hovered) 5. when clicking into a listing and i look at the details of the listing (listing name, location, dates, bd/br, etc.) it looks too crammed. because of this, it makes it harder for my eyes to figure out where i want to look for the right details 6. the “join waitlist” button is transparent in a card component that is also transparent. the “join waitlist” button turns black when hovered. since it is transparent in the non-hovered state, it makes it hard to realize this is the action the user needs to take on this page. i would have it start black without hovering and if you want to have an effect on it when hovered i would do something like animate the shadow or border color (if you want to make a quick change. if you want something that looks cooler, there’s many things you could do) 7. the empty state text in the “amenities” and “stuff to do” - i wouldn’t have it be as bold as those section titles. decrease their font weight to be either normal or medium. 8. the chips for each user in your community page where it says things on a user like “interests: travel, hiking, etc” - the chips are too large in my opinion. i’d make them smaller. 9. on the user card component, if they have a bio they have written and it is long, it gets cut off with the ellipsis so i assumed i should click to see more and it would go to a user page, but it didn’t do that and then i wasn’t able to see their full bio they wrote about themselves 10. i’d add more filters for finding users. i think the “name” filter doesn’t make sense unless you know the exact user you are trying to find. i’m not sure how many of your users are going to know the exact person they are trying to find though. this is just some initial feedback. mainly just give things more room to breathe and properly size things. place more importance on the right actions you want users taking in your application.

That's such a great initiative for people traveling alone, with the right marketing, this product gonna go high! Looking forward to it!

Congrats on the launch! Airmeet sounds like a great solution for digital nomads looking to connect and save on travel. I'll definitely keep this mind when I travel.
