AIRA uses augmented reality to connect people who are blind or low vision to a trained professional agent who is dedicated to further enhancing their everyday experience – completely hands-free assistance at the touch of a button.
This sounds like a great service mixing technology and human assistance to help those who are visually impaired to navigate certain situations in life.
Very similar to Be My Eyes, an app that connects visually impaired people see by connecting them with another person in real-time. I'm curious how responsive the agents are on Aira.
