Apostro's technical lead with over 10 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity, working on various large-scale, high-budget technology solutions with high budgets. Certifications: MS, Computer Science MS, Economics Hi, my name is Tim Ismiliayev; I'm the co-founder and technical lead of Apostro - https://www.apostro.xyz/, a DeFi risk management and cybersecurity platform. I have an extensive background in cybersecurity and finance, which enables us to develop new security solutions for the crypto market. Earlier in my career, I spent two years as a project manager on major projects, overseeing the implementation of automated traffic systems in ten of the world's most congested cities, and leading large teams with over $40mn budgets. My leadership and technical skills were critical to delivering the system in a short time and achieving over seven-figure in revenues. My next big challenge was during my five years as a CTO and advisor to a quant crypto fund. I lead a cross-functional team of quantitative analysts, data scientists, and developers. Our work resulted in an API-based algorithmic rebalancing product with $150 million in assets under management. As part of my work there, I developed a proprietary trading system and automated back-and-forward testing of trading strategies. I also built a data aggregation layer to reduce external dependencies and a risk management system with real-time tracking that has identified and resolved several instances of in-house trader fraud. This experience is now a springboard for Apostro, the risk management platform for DeFi protocols. In less than half a year, we delivered an MVP showing how to secure and prevent exploits before they happen. We started recruiting clients and developing custom security solutions and shipped analytical dashboards with statistics on hacks.
