Hi hunters! Today we present 1Password for Linux—the longest-standing feature request in our company’s history! It’s available for virtually all Linux distributions: Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, Fedora, Arch Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, on the Snap and PopOS stores, and as a downloadable .tar.gz package.
1Password for Linux is deeply embedded into the operating system. That includes biometrics and dark theme support, plus an encrypted connection between the desktop application and 1Password in the browser… which means unlocking one unlocks the other (among other goodies).
We’re so excited to bring a first-class desktop experience to Linux, and we can’t wait to hear your thoughts.
I have Linux. I have been using this app for a long time. I really like it, I constantly forget my passwords and have long wanted to install such an application, because I use Chrome and there is such a function, I am very glad that I created something similar to Linux because I do not want to install Windows, I consider it an outdated system, which is not very suitable for learning programming and working in general, I wanted to learn SSH on Linux, but did not know how to do it. A programmer friend of mine who recommended this application to me also contributed to the SSH Tutorial for Linux Users - Full Beginners Course blog. With the help of this material, I learned SSH.
