My best operator on my team doesn't sleep....
... flip over to ChatGPT hoping for something useful and it spits out the usual suspects: SUID binaries, kernel exploits, weak folder perms. It doesn t know your host, it doesn t know your tools, it doesn t know what phase you re in, and that s the real problem. We asked: what would it take to build an assistant that actually thinks like an operator under pressure? So we built PhantomShift , a research prototype that acts like a tactical copilot ... ... martinez4): @arda_yanik1 would love to hear more if you ve worked on operator training tools appreciate the quote reaction! Prompt recipes: from boilerplate to production
... initepo Example project : https://github.com/initrepo/vent... Example Description: VenturePilot AI is a SaaS platform providing founders with comprehensive, AI-driven market intelligence and validation reports. It empowers data-backed decisions by analyzing startup ideas against market trends, competitor landscapes, and potential customer pain points, significantly de-risking the entrepreneurial journey from ideation to MVP. Inside the repo: you will get documentation that you can feed any ai coding platform, just prompt " Please Build VenturePilot AI " and it should ... ... like it gets overwhelmed sometimes Comment from Aaron O'Leary(@aaronoleary): @steveb  thats a smart move! i like that! How can I effectively manage complex code in Hex Analytics? (Can I somehow use Claude Code?)
... this out? The first idea I came up with is: develop code in a jupyter notebook copy/paste code into hex cells This might work well for initial drafting of hex code, but it doesn't feel workable past that phase. (Hypothetically, to iterate on an existing dashboard, I could i) `git export` the current notebook, ii) convert the exported YAML into a notebook, iii) iterate on the notebook, and iv) sync the changes back into the dashboard, but that sounds ... ... would be cool to have plugins or something that enables building features on top of hex. To some extent I imagine a company like hex would probably push toward improving the experience of their platform vs

How we plan software projects that actually ship on time at Clueso
... these pointers will be helpful to other founders. I d also love to get any tips and thoughts from the more experienced operators here. 1 Design the new feature The more thought and planning that goes into the design phase, the faster everything moves later. It s easy to put together a few concept screens in Figma but great design goes beyond visuals. Designers need to imagine how the feature will actually be used in the real world, anticipate edge ... ... making as many intermediate deployments to production throughout the project as we possibly can. That keeps the scope focused, accelerates delivery, and ensures designers don t feel like their work is being discarded or thrown away. When you are phasing

What’s your mental framework for deciding the first step in a new project?
... been thinking a lot about how chaotic the first phase of any project is especially for early-stage founders. You get the idea, you get excited and then you freeze. Do you validate? Do you sketch out a landing page? Do you research competitors

Anyone did their public launch straight on Product Hunt? - How's it vs launching on PH a bit later.
... Public launch directly on Product Hunt vs going on Product Hunt a bit later. I am looking to compare and learn from experiences of others. Testing monetization in MVP - is Buy Me a Coffee a good idea?

And, I'm curious - has anyone here tried something similar during the MVP phase? If you've used this approach, what was your experience like? Did it work, did it not? Subscription vs Lifetime Plans – what do you prefer (and why)?
... decent upfront cash injection, which can be reinvested into development or infrastructure early on. I ve also seen a few founders use lifetime deals strategically: start with them to build momentum and early community, then phase into subscriptions once there s enough traction. That hybrid approach might be one of the more sustainable ways to go. Comment from Hussein(@hussein_r): @evakk  Right, doesn't really make sense, purchasing the lifetime plan, but then don't get access ...

Vibe coding tips & tricks
... move forward with the backend. 4 Starting fresh > Iterate . If AI didn t pick up on your prompt, sometimes it s better to start fresh. For small changes, iteration makes sense. For larger issues, especially during the prototype phase, it's often more efficient to edit your initial prompt and start over. 5 Provide visual feedback . When iterating, share screenshots of your generated app with the AI. This significantly helps with resolving UI issues. 6 Name your components ... ...
