How to reach your target audience and stand out to LLMs
... product launch isn t enough to land coverage. You need to connect your story to something bigger: What cultural shift or trend does this reflect? What timely problem does it solve? Why does it matter to the world outside your company? Give reporters and creators a reason to care and a narrative they can run with. And avoid one of the most common traps: pitching the wrong people. Technology reporter or Technology and online culture content creator ... ... Very tactically, should you include "AI" in your tagline or not? How do you stand out when you have a product in a really crowded space? Or worse, a product in a crowded space where all of the other competitors

🤔 Why hasn’t smart home tech gone mainstream?
... thermostats that learn your habits So why does the smart home still feel like it hasn t clicked for most people? We ve spent the last year building in this space, and this question keeps coming up, especially outside of early adopter circles. Is it: Too much setup friction? Platform fragmentation? Lack of relevance for the average person? DIY fear? Curious to hear from this community: What do you think is holding smart homes back from mass adoption? Leon ... ... that requires setup time, accounts, or app juggling loses 90% of casual users immediately. Also, the smart often feels... not that smart. People expect contextual awareness, not rule-based routines. Until it feels intuitive and invisible adoption will lag outside

What hobbies or offline activities help you balance work?
... that helps you unplug from the internet. Here s what works for me: At least one hour of exercise per day Walking everywhere instead of driving or taking public transport Habit: Mobile data is turned off when I m outside, so I have no internet access or distractions Attending pub quizzes, where phones are banned (it's a great way to meet new people and learn something without going online) Travelling, which for me is mainly a source of inspiration ... ... solve "different problems" outside

Fieldy Hands On Review: Can this AI Wearable help my ADHD brain remember tasks and save my marriage?
... first impression of the actual device was that the plastic finish felt a little underwhelming, especially if you re used to the polish of Apple or Nothing devices. This made me want to hide the device vs show it off. That s really the only complaint. The weight and comfort is fine and it was actually light enough that I often forgot that I was wearing it. Aside from the plastic casing, the status light shines through ... ... with Room to Grow Fieldy s core strengths are its reminders and task management. Reminders pop up reliably, even on the Apple Watch, and the Google Calendar and Tasks integrations are genuinely useful allowing me to monitor my tasks outside

Do the US companies benefit from hiring people outside the US? Or is the international hiring fake?
... want to sell to Americans, you should close deals and meet customers in the US.) So naturally, it depends on the role and industry. Among all the U.S.-based startups I ve come across, only a few hire outside the U.S. Most are strictly U.S. remote, no visa sponsorship. How do American startups approach international hiring in reality? I would like to get a statement from these startups what is their policy on this, and if they do not hire ...

What unrelated products or industries have shaped your product thinking?
... noticed that some of the biggest product breakthroughs happen when teams look outside their own industry. For example, I ve seen SaaS products borrow UX ideas from video games to improve user onboarding, or logistics companies apply lean manufacturing principles to streamline workflows. But this raises a tricky challenge: how do you identify which unrelated industries hold practical insights without getting distracted? And once you find those ideas, how do you translate them effectively into your own product context without ... ... overcomplicating things? I d love to hear from product builders who have intentionally looked outside

Skype closed down - here are top 6 Skype alternatives for international calls
... life disappeared. It felt the same way as if, one day, nobody would be playing on Call of Duty 2 servers anymore (that hasn t happened yet, right?). Anyway, here I ve compiled a list of the top 6 alternatives to Skype for international calling. I used the following criteria to select them: VoIP-based . That means I only need an internet connection to use the service. Calls from most SIMs abroad are prohibitively expensive, and eSIMs typically include only ... ... analytics dashboard. That s a helpful feature if you have a lot of no-answer calls and you want to analyze what s going wrong. Best for: individuals and teams who want a simple, powerful, and flexible alternative

If anyone can vibe code, how will companies decide who to hire?
... Today, traditional engineering interviews often revolve around DSA (Data Structures and Algorithms). And while DSA tests analytical rigor, it also wires thinking into strict, logical frames. Creativity lives outside those frames. Problem-solving and creating experiences are two entirely different games. And sometimes, forcing a purely analytical mindset can quietly erode creative instincts the very instincts vibe coders thrive on. Which raises a bigger question: Is the future of technology moving into the hands of more imaginative, creative builders rather ... ... vibe coders, what would it look like? (Ship a product? Solve a challenge? Collaborate with AI?) Is vibe coding a new skill category or just a shortcut? Would traditional engineers embrace vibe coders as peers, or view them as outsiders

Is a university degree still worth it if you're building a business?
... good if you want to postpone working at a job or gain time to start a business while studying. Gaining contacts and some prestige. Gaining formal knowledge. Disadvantages that I perceive: A rigid system that does not support thinking outside the box. Can prevent full entrepreneurship. A lot of sunk money on something that you may not even enjoy and will use in the future (in the sense you will not be working in a particular sector). Comment from Nika ... ... very important for a founder for a tech startup. While you can learn much for yourself or while working at another company, I think some things are best learned at university. Regarding "rigid system that does not support thinking outside

What's something you're struggling outside of entrepreneurship?
... quite busy developing our ideas, products, and professional relationships, but I'd love to hear what kinds of challenges you're facing outside of our entrepreneurial hustle. *gets personal* I haven't always enjoyed the strongest relationship with my mother. The fact that we live on opposite sides of the country doesn't help; I usually only see her once a year. I recently made the decision to become a bit more.... "aggressively loving" towards her. What are the best cost effective or cheap ad networks for makers or early stage B2B SaaS companies?
