Are AI tools actually making us more productive or just giving us more ways to procrastinate?
... temptation to use AI for everything, even simple tasks that don't need it. Like I ask ChatGPT to write a two sentence email instead of just writing it lol. The productivity gains are real when I use AI intentionally. But it's easy to fall into this trap where you're optimizing the optimization tools instead of actually working. Plus every new AI tool promises to be a game changer, so you end up constantly testing instead of sticking ... ... maali_baali): I totally relate. When I use AI tools with a clear goal, they save me a ton of time. But when I go down the rabbit hole of perfect prompts, I lose track of the actual task. Intentional

How do you think social media is going to evolve?
... flexing performing now what? Feels like something's about to break, and rebuild. Here s a take: The next wave won t be about going viral - it ll be about belonging. Smaller circles. Real-time hangs. Less algorithm, more intention. Curious what you think comes next. Comment from Furqaan(@chaosandcoffee): @sayeed1440  Fully agree! What unrelated products or industries have shaped your product thinking?
... which unrelated industries hold practical insights without getting distracted? And once you find those ideas, how do you translate them effectively into your own product context without overcomplicating things? I d love to hear from product builders who have intentionally looked outside their direct competitors

How to not break up with your cofounder
... avoided. Despite our differences in experience, I frequently feel I m underperforming relative to Tim and need to remind myself how effective we ve been together. 2. Regardless of background/experience, cofounders need to have an equal partnership. Allowing resentment to creep in anywhere will be the death of your company. Founders in stealth / pre-launch - why? (+ dinner in SF!)
... here. Startups aren't a race. They're a marathon in an idea maze, and you're far more likely to reach a dead end and kill your startup that way than you are to be crushed by a competitor. Okay, so if launch early and launch often is the 90th percentile advice, there are still cases where it makes sense to stay in stealth later. Also, when you're really, really early, it takes a little bit of time ... ... viable or minimum lovable product that you can launch. I'm curious how people at the early stages are thinking about this! If you haven't launched yet or you've consciously delayed your launch, are you delaying it intentionally

AMA w/ James & Tim (founders of posthog)
... transparency and focus on building for developers first. Your approach to multi-product strategy is inspiring doubling down on what works rather than trying to reinvent the wheel. Curious, as you scale, how do you balance shipping new products vs. refining the core experience for existing users? Comment from Sree Chintala(@sreechintala): @james_hawkins3  That makes sense! 100K ARR seems like a good point to start these reviews. How do you usually tell if a team is under-resourced ... ... look at backlog size, velocity, or something else? Comment from steve beyatte(@steveb): Huge fan of what you guys do. I feel like you do enterprise software but play the enterprise game completely different than your competitors
