YouTube unveiled a batch of new features at its annual Made on YouTube showcase, with new integrations of artificial intelligence drawing most of the headlines. Most notably, Google DeepMind's video-generating model, Veo, will soon be available for YouTube Shorts, allowing users to create six-second AI video clips and backgrounds. Though YouTube says AI-created videos will be watermarked, some creators expressed concerns about a possible deluge of AI content on the platform. Other features on the way include Hype, a charged-up version of the "like" button that will vault popular smaller creators onto a weekly leaderboard. This early success demonstrates Hype's potential to revolutionize how creators and viewers interact on the platform. What do you think?

It would be great if they improved the quality of ads. I get that advertisers create them, but most of the ad content is really terrible.
I think it's really cool.
